One of the people I met through my old roommate (the escort) called me out of the blue and asked if he could come over.
He's a bit of a paradox because he's super nice and polite and everything, but he seems to know a lot of the people in town "from the wrong side of the tracks." He's unemployed right now and super broke, and was asking me for empty cans and bottles, any loose change I had, etc. Then I was like "hey, let's say I gave you some G, could you find someone to buy it?" He was like "yeah, like, I know people looking for it every day."
So I pull out the huge bottle and show it to him. He, understandably, was a bit skeptical at first, so I did a dose with him. It passed the initial taste test (i.e. really fucking gross, as is to be expected). Then not too long after (G kicks in pretty quickly; just a bit of trivia for the unitiated who are reading this), he was like "woah, this is really good shit. How much do you want for it?" I'm just like "it's yours man. You're in a tough spot right now, so hopefully this will help you out."
He's like "man, I can get like a couple hundred bucks for this in no time."
I just told him I'm glad I could help.
I mean, I was literally contemplating throwing it out not too long ago. I'm glad I was able to help someone with it.
They really need a good will / charity organization for people to donate excess drugs they have lying around. Then again, who am I kidding? How often does this kind of thing happen (having excess drugs lying around that you want to get rid of)? -

Actually, that reminds me of a really interesting finding that apparently pretty much every person interviewed after trying to kill themselves by jumping off the Golden Gate bridge ended up regretting the decision on the way down.
Now that is a frightening thought. Presumably, the ones who succeeded had the exact same thought right before they died. -

I end up starting about 1000 new projects a year, and never really "finish" any of them, because I just can't establish any quantifiable "doneness" criteria.
I'm working on it though.

I can't tell if you're being intentionally ironic/sarcastic here...
But maybe it's because of a certain lack of context. Not only do those things I stated above make him kind of a douche, but, I normally wouldn't make an entire thread just to call them out on being a douche unless they were already consistently being a douche directly to me (which WellHung has been doing).
The only time I've ever made a thread "targeting" one person has been after they have made some kind of consistent effort to target me... And if I can find enough reasons to compile an entire thread about their negative qualities in a only a few minutes, it only makes it all the more likely that I'll do it.
I'm a "retaliatory" bully, I guess.
And my Internet "grudges" rarely last longer than a day or two. Holding onto an Internet grudge has to be the most pointless energy and emotion drain a person can devote themselves to. -

"Despises" is a pretty strong word. Just because I make an entire thread about how much of a douche you are does not necessarily mean I "despise" you. I don't "despise" anyone - life is too short for hatred.
The fact that there's nothing good about you only means you have room for improvement - that is, if you take any of these criticisms at least remotely seriously and make some kind of concerted effort to change.
