   I'm so on the fence about his banning.
   
   On the one hand, I am a fervent supporter of free speech, especially on any kind of site that follows in the Totse tradition.
   
   But, on the other hand, he technically was spamming. I mean, his insults, while maybe occasionally entertaining (even to me from time to time), were virtually never all that relevant.
   
   That's kind of a rational reason to ban someone, even in a culture that considers freedom of speech sacrosanct.
   
   I mean, we kick the shoe sales spammers to the Mongolvoid, but for good reason I would say.
   
   Even if infinityshock is occasionally entertaining, it's like a broken clock being right twice a day. Sure, it's bound to happen from time to time, but most of his posts are just plain disruptive and irrelevant.
   
   I'm not saying that I necessarily approve of his banning, but I do get why Lanny would do it. It's not entirely unreasonable/unfair of him.
   
   Ghost, my man, I will never for the life of me figure out why this is your hill to die on. Assuming infinityshock is not one of your alts, why are you so bent on defending his case? The principle might be a noble one (i.e. the defense of free speech), but what I've learned over the years is that some battles just aren't worth fighting. It's not like this has become some kind of slippery slope where Lanny has started banning people for literally no reason.
   
   When it comes to that, I'll be right by your side. But for now, I understand Lanny's judgment.

   Basically there are three possible explanations for all of this:
   
   1. This is actually Zanick's sister, and he really is in the hospital, which is pretty concerning, at least to me.
   2. Zanick's fucking with all of us, which will turn out to be somewhat entertaining I guess, but some of us, or at least I, am actually genuinely concerned, and the concern would outweigh the lulz.
   3. This is Zanick, but he actually thinks he's his "evil sister." This is definitely the most frightening of them all. Zanick is good people, and one of my favorite posters on here. He is one of the few people who actually cares about things like eloquence and diction. He's also well-read and a scholar in his own right.
   
   Zanick, if it's #2, please let us know soon.
   
   But when it comes to #1 and #3, it's pretty much Schrodinger's Zanick... We may never know for sure. Either one is tragic, but #3 is probably worse. At least if he's in the hospital from drug psychosis, he's being treated by professionals.

   For context: This was 1998. While, yes, the Internet was a thing, kids back then were way less present online, and so I had actually never heard of cumming from masturbation. I had heard of nocturnal emissions during sex ed class, but must have missed fap day, because it was completely outside of my knowledge or experience.
   
   I was about 14 at the time. I was living in Ottawa (Ontario, Canada) at the time, because I would go there pretty much every summer when I was a kid because my dad lives out there.
   
   So, I'm lying on a bed or couch, can't remember which, and my brother was asleep on a mattress on the floor.
   
   I was just messing around with it, playing around, exploring, etc. Then, suddenly, I'm overcome by this completely unexpected rush feeling. It felt almost like I was blacking out, but in a really, really good way.
   
   I freaked out after, wondering what the heck just happened, and if it was normal.
   
   I then spent pretty much the entire remainder of that summer in the bathroom "exploring" myself further. Literally anything could arouse me at that point. I think I even thought of my step-mom a few times while jerking it.

    This place isn't necessarily as toxic and detrimental as it might seem. Sadly, most of the Internet is becoming a "hive of scum and villainy"... Racist and homophobic slurs, for example, have become standard terms of communication. Telling someone online to kill themselves is said with utter disregard for the severity of the command.
    
    The Internet is full of shitty people, and this site is no exception (if anything, it has more than the typical Internet community). But it isn't all bad. Totse (this site's progenitor) taught me a lot, and I will forever be indebted to such a community. NiS is as close to the original Totse as there is. I will continue to stay despite all the rampant negativity.

    For reference, for anyone who might be as confused as I was at one point, apparently Zanick's account is currently being used by his "evil sister" (quotes his own, not mine).
    
    Zanick is almost certainly my favorite poster on this entire site, so I'm trying to humor the whole thing, but I have a strong feeling this is some kind of drug-induced thing...
    
    Hopefully temporary, though, because Zanick brings a certain kind of eloquence, poetry, and high-culture to this site that goes greatly underappreciated.
