I still read this forum maybe a couple times a month I just don't find it worth my time posting anything. Also, I was in jail for most of this year for a probation violation if you wondered why I haven't been around. I was in tinychat a couple weeks ago but probably won't have time for that for quite a while until overtime slows up at work. I hope you been good.
Do you miss photoshopping Toothlessjoe.

…Can you help me get rid of them.
Yes. Leave a container filled with vinegar by your bedside. When they drink it, their lips will curl and their throats will seize up and they will flee, yelling, "Water!! Water!!". They won't come back after that. You're welcome.

i guess its true what they say, all you can do is the best you can. everyday i just try to stay humble and remind the bastards theres no need to try and get anyone down. i'm just glad to be surrounded by fellow likeminded patriots that strive day in and day out to enrich eachothers lives.
sometimes though, you have to retract the lock-pin on your chair and just let it recline. express yourself in your favorite creative domain(not that i know what that means) and then let your masterpiece speak to you.

I thought about getting The Following. The base game was fucking stupid on so many levels, I hated _every_ character that got a single line, the durability mechanics were cancer, the plot was a moronic sequence of macguffins, the stealth sequences resolved to "spam q and watch patterns", the "oh no we're running out of anti-zombie-meds" like was the stupidest plot device since you could never, no matter what you do, actually run out of said med AND YET there was something really damn fun about it. Progressing from having to play hella skittish and running for the window as soon as you hear a noise in the beginning of the game to being able to grab-and-run through difficult areas, to becoming a fire/lightning scimitar avatar of re-de-animation was satisfying. It was poor horror but the difficulty of the early night missions was enough to create some real shit-your-pants moments the first time you have to go through a tunnel, when those sprinty niggas show up, or any time you enter a confined space.
The skill balancing was really jank as only like 20% of them were really worth a shit, but when you got one of those 20% it was awesome. I remember spending like 3 days blowing off the game's quests just dropkicking zombie nigs into (completely unexplained) spiky shit for exp. I also distinctly remember the first time I survived a night outside by running out of a safe zone, dropkicking the a night zombie off a roof, and booking it back for like half an hour, then slowly working up to moving further out, taking more risks, eventually being able to move between safezones. It was a really satisfying formula for some reason.
It's a great example of a game that managed to do almost everything wrong but still somehow created a really satisfying gameplay loop that salvaged the game.
aye that part in jurassic park book where malcolm is shooting up morphine just waiting for the raptors to eat him after everyone else bounces on him to save their own sorry asses was dank though
