BACKWOODS-ASS 4GLTE web connection. Has really great array of config settings, can scan for mobile networks and check signal strength on different bands. Find one you like performance on, then "lock" to it. Runs on 12V, gonna be mounting it in vehicle with external antennas. Interestingly, those little omni cellular antennas on it don't get me any better signal in that location than my phone does on the same network. I want to get a directional antenna to play with because people are getting incredible throughput with the right setups. Mine is SIM-based to easily switch carriers. WAN port, 4port 100Mbps switch. USB port which can be used for having a networked printer, or plug in an additional modem. b/g/n/AC wifi to use as access point, bridge, etc with adjustable tx power on the radio.
Freedompop has sim cards for 5 bucks ( on sale for 99 cents currently) which come with 2gigs free to use within 14days and then afterwards you get 200Megabytes data free per month. Thinking of some cool remote management applications , with no recurring monthly costs - pretty cool.The following users say it would be alright if the author of this post didn't die in a fire! -

2018-08-11 at 4:12 AM UTCin this metal building i wasn't seeing consistently good speeds, it seemed to have settled around 3.5Mbps down and 2 or 3 up.
sat it on the ground right outside ( still connected to it with wifi) and just tested on band4 at 15Mbps down, 6up, ~90ms ping. cant wait to get some better antennas and some cable to play with. -

when you say "SIM" card do you mean gsm card? not all carriers work on gsm they work on CDMA signals. -

but I love BBQ Chicken and Beef Ribs is they're cooked on the BBQ and then thrown in the Crockpot for a while then quickly recooked over coals.
