I'm currently playing harvest moon 64. I'm on spring 2

Never heard of before, but looks interesting and one that I can actually play. Good find.

Play Friends of Mineral Town for the GBA instead, trust me.

You can only use one hand? With an emulator you could set the controls so that it would be pretty easy to do everything one handed, or a control stick, as you said. The latter probably would be better for this.

Pfft, 2004 was clearly worse and it's one of like 3 elections I have enough of a memory of to comment on. Also Hillary is just a right wing bogeyman, she's no saint but the level of emotionality I see out of people over her being "just evil" or "secretly a man" or any number of other hilarious slurs based, as far as I can tell, on personal insecurities makes it clear that the smear campaigns are working but nothing else.

*shrugs* She's a standard politician, to be honest. That's really what it boils down to. In your view, how bad is that? It's not going to be the end of the world, of course, but it will be a continuation of trends. Hillary is extremely corrupt and establishment to the core.

Oh, and as for those who use the lesser of two evils line of argument, I like to use this line:

If you keep choosing between being shot in the hand or foot, eventually you're going to bleed out.

How has this strategy of voting for the lesser of two evils worked out? Where has it gotten the nation? Anyone who adheres to this pathetic strategy deserves the country they get.

If you're serious about political analysis and prediction, you need to learn about prediction markets and why they matter:

    http://predictwise.com/politics/2016-president-republican-nomination

Trump likely has a very good chance of being nominated. That doesn't answer your question, though, but at the very least it's going to be entertaining as hell seeing him as one of the two contenders, campaigning and debating.

    http://predictwise.com/politics/2016-president-winner

Odds are probably in Hillary's favor, but this is such a huge wildcard. Genuine scandals (Yes, the emails actually do matter, although they have been fixated on for political gain; it's not binary.), incredible corruption, lies, skeletons in closet etc. Only idiotic generic Democrats, vagina voters, hyper-partisans, college liberals/people who consider themselves intelligent and highly knowledgeable, but actually have mediocre intelligence and are incredibly uninformed and misinformed (Analysis of information consumption. Overwhelmingly low quality, irrelevant, entertainment masquerading as education, and bias confirmation). you know, the vast majority of the population who support her, are unaware of these issues, believe they're insignificant, or are actually excited about her. There are just so many factors that can contribute to an implosion or at the very least reduce her support, and fuck, hahaha, Trump is the worst fucking candidate that could have won for that, you know he's going to go after mercilessly.

And really, how dumb do you have to be to actually be excited about Hillary Clinton, especially after 8 years of Obama. Anyone's who's hoping for positive change from a presidential candidate is incredibly naive and will be continually disappointed, but the vast majority never learn. Look into research done on political partisanship, it's embarrassing. This isn't pessimism or cynicism, it's realism. Political idols are abominations beneath the surface, FDR is the Reagan of the left. As for their impact, it brings to mind this political cartoon:

And then when the economy turned around Democrats completely forgot this. I noticed it immediately on Reddit.

Allow me to show you one amusing insight into the most recent alleged Democratic golden/nostalgic era. Decide for yourself what this suggests: www.google.com/search?q=clinton+bush+friends

Believing you have a chance for real change, being able to feel as part of something larger than yourself, a righteous movement, following the events, does bring happiness to people's lives, but it's akin to a belief in religion/God, you've either seen through it and are either unable or unwilling to delude yourself even if you accept it would lead to an increase in well-being due to fundamental human factors (happiness research), or it's like sports and you just aren't dumb enough (Too strong a systemizer, higher need for intellectual stimulation, strong subconscious elitism?) to enjoy seeing a ball moved from point A to point B.

Kick back and enjoy watching the world continually burn and grow, be destroyed and rebuilt. The debates and campaigns of Trump v. Hillary are going to be a riot, this could be the most amusing election cycle in history (Taking into account the technology we have available.).

Malice, I've never told you this, but your posts always sounded so much like me, and the fact that you have kept going for such a long time has always encouraged me to keep fighting. Thank you.

    Aww. :(

Nardil + NSI-189 as a base, to start you off and reverse some of the damage/endogenous deficiencies.

    Then this: https://www.reddit.com/r/Nootropics/comments/3u999j/toward_a_neurology_of_loneliness_the_neurological/

I gave some advice on how to get Nardil prescribed in that thread. Everyone should try these two before giving up.

Still no soreness. Cool! I think I've developed a permanent immunity. Nearly completely sedentary for almost a year after last lifting weights. Seems I'm a hard gainer, but hard loser as well. I would have expected the pain to be killing me after that.

Also, slept about 16 hours yesterday. The Nardil + NSI-189 seemed to do something. I had extremely vivid dreams, relative to the norm. Normally I either don't dream, or they're incredibly mundane and uninteresting, bland in terms of realism and general emotion, and unmemorable. I wonder what it would do to someone who dreams normally, if they experience this effect.

Only fun part was some hot sex dreams involving my sister; definitely received a significant testosterone boost from the regional park ordeal (sunlight + physical activity) based on behavioral correlations. Other than that, had some disturbing moments. Makes me wonder whether it is possible to have a DMT trip in your sleep, which McKenna mentioned, along with other people online who may have been unaware of that (it was a short moment in an hour+ long talk), or if it really is released during REM phases, as has been speculated, and may sometimes occur in greater quantities than usual.

Had repeated instances of false awakenings, which felt real. Had one moment where I had sleep paralysis in the dream and then felt like I may have been having a seizure or stroke, but without any violent physical movements. I remember that the vision from my right eye only became distorted, I'm not sure how to describe it, but it was somewhat orderly and colorful, reminded me of DMT, and remained consistent. In the dream state this felt like it was actually occurring to me and my brain may have become permanently fucked up; not fun. Not sure what else may have occurred that I've forgotten, but that was an interesting moment.

Also being smart and won't discuss anything business related, but I may have found a very good opportunity. Found some interesting information about possible differences due to source origin of the material, which seems to be in my favor. Ordered a sample to test and see if it's suitable, but if it is and this works out:

Wow, getting lost in a national park without food for multiple days. That's bretty intense. Why didn't you bring food and more water though?

Well, I didn't plan to get lost and stay for two days. "Be prepared". It was seriously only supposed to be only a few hours, but, ugh, I should have gone a lot earlier, and the LSD (although I did bring plenty of etizolam to abort it.) I probably could have made it out of there if I had known I had GPS.

There were fucking coyotes there, howling close to me. Also came across some cow bones later, wonder if they killed it. Fortunately I was sheltered and not particularly worried because deaths are so incredibly rare (2 recorded), along with attacks. They're also fairly small, so I'm pretty sure I could have kicked the shit out of them. Oh, that reminds me, I need to buy more pepper spray (Foxlabs seems like the best, IIRC). Marked my territory with deep guttural growls and roars, banging hard on the ground and trees with a heavy stick. I doubt they would have even approached me after that, in the area I was in; difficult to ambush.

P.S. you mentioned a vendor on longecity or somewhere similar that was selling NSI-189, is that where you bought from? Seems like an interesting drug.

Strangelove. He has the best price for it, excellent vendor, longstanding solid reputation and tests all batches.

    What's the orange pills?

    Nardil.

Went to Wildcat Regional Park. Took some LSD and ended up staying for 48 hours when I had only planned for 4-5.

Rough trails. When it kicked it I began to worry because I was starting to have trouble walking. Fortunately if I kept moving forward I was okay. Running may have actually felt easiest of all.If I stopped I would start stumbling sideways and have trouble keeping my balance like a drunk.

Unfortunately due to my penchant for going way off trail (much more interesting) and the desire I had to reach the summit, well, I ended up using the emergency blanket I had brought along to stay warm while lying on my back and gazing and the sky/stars and overview of the city. Uneventful trip, there's this recurring theme of extreme alienation and emptiness; along with an effect on theory of mind and empathy where I can feel what other people experience, the things in life I go through, and what I missed out on; despite all the problems I have with human life. I regret not bringing more. I felt more connected to the world afterward, but later in the day incredibly depressed due to feelings of isolation, loneliness, and what I missed out on; how absurd and different from the norm my existence is. Just having a home with family, friends.

I accepted that it was too dark to find my way back, eventually, and fortunately had brought 8mg etizolam, although I don't think I managed to sleep. Tried to wait until sunrise. After trying to sleep on the ground sometime in the early AMs I got up and began to make a dugout to block wind, with leaves ans cushioning for the ground. Fortunately the dirt was soft. Those branches were to keep me from accidentally rolling down a very steep area in my sleep.

Those emergency blankets fucking suck, btw. Tear easily, aren't large enough, and was still too cold to sleep (slightly cold, I need to be warm) I should have brought my Marmot Pounder, it's literally only a pound and can be packed into a tiny space. Rated for 40F (ratings are based on having certain clothes on). Should have brought some thermal gear as well (hat, gloves, jacket, socks). Phone began to run out of battery, but fortunately I had brought my vaporizer which has an output you can use to recharge phones.

Unfortunately when it was sunrise I had no idea where the trail was and got lost as fuck. When through some rough fucking areas, steep climbs and descents, trying to get to certain spots. Eventually took a nap on a peak in the sun for about 3 hours to rest. I don't think I had eaten in 2 days at that point and had only brought about 7 cups of water and 2 of wine. I was thirsty and hungry as fuck. Finally managed to find the trail and get out right as I was near the limit where my legs were giving out, I had to repeatedly stop toward the final phase.

Apparently I still have some resilience. That was not easy. At least this ordeal may give a massive boost to my power level, making any return trips much easier. I would have thought my legs would be killing me, we'll see if tomorrow is different. May be due to all those years of strength training, heavy compound lifts. Eventually, it didn't take long, I stopped feeling sore, no matter how grueling the workout. It's been over a year since I stopped, though.

Also, at some point I reached an intersection and looked it up on my phone. Some time later I realized I had GPS.

Apparently my stolen Navfree app gives me GPS. I had no idea and had never noticed before, I thought you needed to subscribe and pay a fee every month, an account type system, I didn't know simply having a stolen app could do it. Motherfucker, I could have avoided all that if I had known. At least now I do, and it's pretty cool, works well and made getting out a lot easier once I realized it.

    Also, it begins:

Picked it up yesterday on the way home from the park. Started today. The two most powerful antidepressants currently available, combined. Let's hope this is the start of a new phase in my life.

So I'm trying this amazon fresh thing. Did the math and it pays off pretty quick, mixed bag with the selection. All the essentials but some things like sunseeds were absent. We'll see how the produce turns out. I also kinda want to use the "dash" or "instant" thing or whatever. Like the "press button get shit delivered" thing. I know it's a gimmick but it looks cool and I anticipate a certain pleasure in having someone attend to my needs at the literal press of a button.

It's happening. Soon you will begin to have to go outside less and less, and as society evolves, hardly ever at all. In fact, the psychological impact and pleasure from VR may drive you to a point where things you believed would always entice to go outside occasionally won't anymore.

Lanny, can you still cancel your Oculus preorder? It looked like the Vive might be a better deal, and currently superior by a fair margin: https://www.reddit.com/r/gadgets/comments/46vpks/htc_vive_priced_at_799_available_in_early_april/d08p2bu

Was planning to go to a regional park area and take some LSD, but ended up being too late and I decided against the idea of trying it at night for a few hours (Actually don't like the dark, although for short walks, in the right mood and area, it can definitely provide a unique beauty. In this case, though, I wouldn't be able to fully appreciate any natural beauty, particularly considering the lack of lighting I doubt I'd have been able to see much detail, don't like the cold, and in general it probably wouldn't have been a good setting and would have led to an uncomfortable experience.), then aborting/greatly toning down the trip with some etizolam and walking an hour to a BART station along a pretty simple route. Will consider it tomorrow during the day, depending on how I'm feeling. Planning to try Mescaline at a later day for an all day event, but would prefer to leave something like that until after Nardil kicks in (Picking it up tomorrow, very much looking forward to starting it).

Also finally got around to hemming the jeans I bought (5'8 + minimalist (very thin soles) shoes means the standard 30 inch length is too long and drags on the ground, which annoys the hell out of me (sensory sensitivity)), which was pretty simple. Don't own an iron, so I used a very ghetto method to make the crease along which to cut, the bottom of a small frying pan heated on the stove: http://www.levi.com/US/en_US/mens-jeans/p/245800003

As per my usual tendency to research thoroughly, these were the best choice I could find, and they're a pretty good deal. Something that isn't overly tight in the thighs, and has spandex as well for a freer range of motion. Also come in black, which was a requirement, as I wanted to complete an all black outfit/uniform. Highly recommend them for those looking for a quality pair of jeans that are comfortable (have about 1.5% spandex, varies by color), for those with larger thighs (Naturally or due to athletics, not because you're fat. It's for those who also have a thinner waistline.), look good, and are affordable.

These are my ideal pants, but goddammit they have not had black in stock for months: http://www.ems.com/ems-mens-trailhead-zip-off-pants/1285090.html

The convenience of convertibility. Hot during the day or desire for greater mobility/comfort, stash zipoffs in cargo pockets or a bag if you carry one. Just look at the description for all the other benefits, they're perfectly optimized. Spandex, 2-way stretch, Quick-drying, abrasion- and wrinkle-resistant fabric with a DWR (durable water repellent) finish to shed light moisture, 3 in. wide inseam gusset on shorts for freedom of movement (a gusset is very important for fully unrestricted motion for pants, short of something like leggings/high spandex material), knee darts/articulated knees on pant legs for unrestricted movement, and multiple roomy pockets.

I'm going the Steve Jobs route. As with many other things in life, I'm not playing this fucking game. I specifically want my wardrobe to contain no variety for a variety of reasons.

Goddamn my Asperger's, the reason I stopped wearing jeans is because I can't stand the way they feel. The fabric is too thick and they feel too restrictive. It's torturous if clothing feels uncomfortable or like it's interfering with my range of motion. With pants it makes me end up walking stiff legged, almost military like. Even with these I'm going to have to adjust to them and break them in as much as possible. Lanny, do you have any similar problems with this?

    https://www.reddit.com/r/LSD/comments/2ns95d/tripping_in_a_city/

I've had acid in NYC, Boston & Sydney (plus mushies in Atlanta). Some observations:
Sydney was my favourite setting for a city trip; it was during Vivid Festival, when the city becomes a psychedelic playground for a few weeks each winter (seen here). Unfortunately, I made the idiotic decision to go to the casino after the lights shut off at midnight, because I still wanted more flashy lights. Seeing people pissing their life savings into the pokies at 2am on a Monday was just depressing.

Common side effects associated with monoamine oxidase inhibitors.

Remick RA, Froese C, Keller FD.

Department of Psychiatry, University Hospital - U.B.C. Site, Vancouver, Canada.

There is relatively little documentation on the common side effects associated with monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOI) and their frequency of occurrence. A retrospective chart review of patient records in a Mood Disorders Service was completed. Side effects of patients receiving phenelzine (N = 42) and tranylcypromine (N = 19) were rated as mild (resulting in no change in treatment), moderate (some modification in treatment plan necessary), and severe (definite change in treatment plan or drug discontinuation due to MAOI side effect). A total of 35 reports of side effects were noted in 15 of 19 tranylcypromine patients (1.84 per patients) and a total of 125 side effect reports were noted in 39 of 42 phenelzine patients (2.98 per patient). Only two severe tranylcypromine side effects occurred (resulting in drug cessation for one of these patients - hypotension), while 9 severe reactions occurred with phenelzine, resulting in drug discontinuation in 6 of these patients. The side effects for tranylcypromine and the number of reports were insomnia (N = 10), sedation (N = 8), hypotension (N = 5), sexual dysfunction (N = 3), hypomania (N = 3), weight gain/edema (N = 2), hypertensive episode (N = 2), and myoclonic jerking (N = 2). The number of reports of phenelzine side effects were insomnia (N = 26), hypomania/mania (N = 27; most common reason for drug cessation - 4), hypotension (N = 16; three cases considered severe), weight gain/edema (N = 15), sedation (N = 15), sexual dysfunction (N = 13), hypertensive episode (N = 6), and myoclonic jerking (N = 7).(ABSTRACT TRUNCATED AT 250 WORDS)

I don't really understand how drug dogs work. Like to they need to be trained separately for each drug? Obviously different drugs smell different, unless there's some super common filler or something that they detect. It couldn't even be classes of drugs right? Like if rover the drug dog jumped every kid with an adderall script no one would get through an airport ever.

Yep. Generally there are only a few main drugs that they train them for. Methamphetamine, heroin, MDMA, cannabis, cocaine.
  13. Malice Naturally Camouflaged
Yeah, the problem here is LSD doesn't own a car and couldn't come up with something that funny.

He might have spotted the alliGAYtor on the side of the road while looking for drugs though.

Hey, pretty obvious idea, but what if you trained a drug sniffing dog and used it to find drugs people had lost or stashed? Only problem would be somehow training it to avoid people's pockets/people themselves and inside buildings or vehicles.

At certain locations I could see this being very useful.

Lanny, do you have any siblings?

Also, I hate to ask and don't take this the wrong way, I'm just curious, but are you going to receive anything for inheritance? I don't recall you ever saying anything about your mom or any siblings. It would be pretty nice if you inherited a house or something, put it to good use. Definitely unfair, I wonder how your egalitarian ideals influence your view of this, but if you really wanted to, I'd trust you to put it to good use more than the overwhelming majority of people.

Also, where is the funeral being held? If it's close enough, could I come as a guest? It's good to have people you can relate to for emotional support. It's just something I'm interested in experiencing, particularly the eulogy.

Did you get my PM? There's something I want to talk to you about. I'm asking because the system is, and has been, screwy. It doesn't show up in my sent folder and if it's not working I'd like another way to contact you. PM me with an alternate method (email) if you haven't received it.

you know much stims i could buy with 135 dorrah? About 100g if i go to the wholeseller and cut out the middleman. If you're thinking bullshit don't, Holland has domestic amp and mdma production so it's cheap as fuck here.

Do you actually know any wholesalers? Also, is that price for paste or powder? $1.35 is insanely cheap, even $3 a gram if it's paste and you accounted for weight loss. What's the purity like?

Alright, let's say you had a $1000 to invest and could go straight to a wholesaler. How much high quality uncut MDMA or speed could you get for that?

You have no idea how much of a return that could make if you could get it into the US, which would be at no risk to you (How do you get caught mailing a package?). There's a very simple and cheap method to legitimately beat drug dogs, but it would be better to take a trip to a less conspicuous country, one outside the Netherlands, to mail it; mail from there draws much more scrutiny. Belgium or Germany are pretty close by, make a trip out of it.

In a study of college-aged students, high emotional intelligence in young adult women was associated with manipulative behaviors and delinquency.
    https://www.reddit.com/r/science/comments/46cb5w/in_a_study_of_collegeaged_students_high_emotional/

Trait emotional intelligence (EI) encompasses high levels of emotional understanding and is generally associated with positive outcomes. However, research has suggested that high EI might predispose some young females to delinquency. The present study investigated whether this relationship can be accounted for by a tendency towards emotionally manipulative behaviours, facilitated by high EI. Two hundred and fifty-two young adults (125 female) completed measures of EI, Machiavellianism, the managing emotions of others scale (MEOS) and self-reported delinquent behaviour. High EI females presented higher levels of delinquency, Machiavellian Tactics and morality, the supposedly prosocial MEOS behaviours enhancing and diverting and the non-prosocial behaviours worsening, inauthenticity and concealing. High-EI males reported fewer delinquent offences, high levels of MEOS prosocial enhancing behaviour and low levels of non-prosocial behaviours. We suggest that high-EI may enable manipulative relational behaviours in some females which in turn support delinquency aimed at fulfilment of social or material goals.

Interesting discussion. A recurrent theme if you accept reality for what it likely is rather than attempting to convince yourself of your ideas (this doesn't lead to happiness). Biological reality is a very ugly thing, see through it and rise above it, then find others who have done the same. Hopefully they aren't so rare and inaccessible that you'll always be alone.
