Other than just 'depression' I'm trying to find a logical explanation why I do (or don't do) certain things, for example walking past the same piece of crumpled up empty bag on my floor 1000x in a row instead of taking literally 3 seconds to pick it up and throw it away.
And when I'm at work I'm almost literally the opposite and will keep myself busy with tasks and projects and I actually get bothered when I see a random garbage or something that needs obvious cleaning.
So I don't think it's just pure laziness so much as it's some other fucked up mental thing. I definitely FEEL lazy when I leave some dishes sitting there for weeks, but I know in my loins I'm not lazy.
Even if I'm visiting friends who have some dishes or their cat litter needs changing I notice it and am like 'oh here let me help you with that it's all good' and I will have no problem doing chores and I actually in a weird way WANT to, and then I'm sitting there wondering why the fuck can't i do these for myself so easily.

Hmm. From what I see it looks like they're self-insured or just 'eat their losses.' People tend to say a few different things though.
