   Do people still do the whole cable TV thing? I only signed up because their marketing/sales department cold called me one Friday evening while I was drunk and propositioned a $10 cable TV package, and I said "sure, why not?".

   I can't say that I would, personally. I have this seemingly rare psychological condition wherein I just do not like showing my face (in video conferences, "selfies", etc, etc), but at the same time, see nothing in particular in my face that I would want to change.
   
   And body-wise, I dunno... As long as I keep my diet and exercise regime on point, everything is A+ as far as I'm concerned (but lately I haven't been quite on point... That's a personal issue though and not a surgery-oriented issue).

   Honestly, a boob job is about the only cosmetic surgery that doesn't turn out awful, because, even though fake boobs are less attractive than real boobs, they're bigger, and the size almost always outweighs the unnaturalness. It's actually quite a fascinating psychological phenomenon.

    I truly think I was happier when I used to live by the seat of my pants. No job, drinking all the time, doing whatever drug was within nearby vicinity, and just doing whatever the fuck would fit my fancy at a given moment.
    
    But, in all fairness, things weren't always coming up roses. Sometimes shit got straight up disastrous.
    
    But for the time being, I'm gonna revert back to that conceptual framework - or, rather, complete lack of a conceptual framework to operate by... It was literally about shutting the brain off to whatever degree was possible.
    
    I paid all those Employment Insurance premiums with each pay check, I'm gonna sit back and collect for a bit... Call it a(n early) midlife crisis (quarter-life-crisis?).
    
    Valentine's day is only all the more conducive to such a paradigm shift.

    Plus it's cold as fuck and there's a shit ton of snow outside, but it's all good, I've got like $100 available on on my credit card, and get my last severance cheque tomorrow, so I'll make do.     If it's meant to be more potent, or have fewer side effects, or just all around be more pleasant, then by all means, it makes sense.
    
    But I have heard of spice (is that the same thing?) having tons of shitty/undesirable side effects, and then I'm just left wondering... Why not just obtain the original plant?

    Second, it basically consists of just slowly adding the GBL to a flask of NaOH (sodium hydroxide; lye; etc) dissolved in water, and monitoring both temperature and pH with each addition of GBL.
