   It's practically a right of passage. I won't get addicted, other people do because they're cognitively inferior in some manner, generally lacking in will power to recognize the irrationality of their behavior, which has clearly crossed to an untenable level of cost-benefit. Rationality simply dictates that you stop using, take the disutility in exchange for a more stable future with a net gain relative to now. Although, there is my "sustainable heroin addiction" idea, which may actually be feasible. Someone with Lanny's income could probably afford it.
