There's so clearly truth to this that it is in fact mind-boggling to consider how many people, particularly so in America I suppose, partake in diets vastly stemmed on fats and sugars and processed foods, while having the knowledge that a better diet, quite simply, could help them/us/me that much better.
Of course it's also no at all mind-boggling in the sense that as glam described, it's sort of hard-wired into us. Maybe soft-wired. Is that a thing? Soft-wire my ass.
In my happiest days I was eating much healthier than I am lately, but case in thread's point I'm now used to shitty food to satiate my cravings and the convenience factor makes it that much easier to not want to put forth more effort into making a HEARTY AND HEALTHY meal.
Anyway I'm getting a crock pot this week and eating nothing but chicken and rice and vegetables for the next 8 years.
