2017-03-03 at 4:11 AM UTC in Are mopeds cool at all?I want a speedy way to get around that doesn't involve lots of gasoline. Is it too faggy to ride a moped or will it attract women in droves? Can you recommend something like it that won't make me look douchey or stupid?

Originally posted by Captain Falcon If you need to use office software, then Open or Libre Office are the "will do" option. Microsoft Office is so overwhelmingly superior in every single aspect that it's not even funny. Seriously. You can make do with LibreOffice or OpenOffice but MS Office is just categorically better.
Yes, being able to use MS Office is non-negotiable. I am open to using Google docs, however.
Originally posted by Captain Falcon When you say "multitasking", what multiple tasks are you actually trying to do? Chromebooks are good for college students n shit who have to type essays, do homework online etc, and they just browse the internet and shit for fun. They have great battery life and are pretty secure too.
As far as Linux goes, don't even. Unless you're for some reason buying a laptop that has no OS loaded onto it (or its considerably cheaper than a comparable Windows laptop), don't give yourself the headache of Linux. In 2017, unless you are a developer, Linux is just retarded and a headache for no real reason. Pretty much the only good thing for an everyday user is that it's free. Otherwise it's inferior to Windows in every way (for a casual user), and a tinkerer's toy now.
Particularly in manic episodes, I open lots of tabs in lots of browsers and juggle many documents open at once.
Originally posted by Lanny I got by for like two years in college on a chromebook with crouton, like capt said the battery life is amazing and the native browser is really snappy for the cheap ass hardware those things are built out of. I'm not crazy about the last update to the mac book pros but but I'm still convinced the MBP is still the best laptop on the market, although you pay a premium for it. You might consider an air if you want something cheaper (but still considerably more expensive than chromebooks, as most things are).
The X line of thinkpads are actually half decent for an on-the-go kind of laptop although hardcore thinkpad people think they're trash along with like everything else. They're expensive and have mediocre battery life but are well built and are pretty powerful machines. Some people love the hardware design.
A Chromebook is looking very attractive to me right now for all the reasons you said. I currently use a MBP 2011 17" and it works great, it's just heavy to carry around with me everywhere and I worry that I'll drop it because it has a hybrid drive and I think that could eventually cause serious damage. Not to mention the price, Chromebooks can be super cheap. How do you get one with no OS loaded? -

Originally posted by Merlin Srs question, doesn't the Gita ultimately say that killing isn't a problem because death gives way to new life and it's more like changing state and not anything final?
That's a good question; I describe my moral position as ahimsa because it best fits my position as it literally means 'do no harm'' but, regardless of what the Gita says, my ethical position is a secular one and thus I do not subscribe to the religious teachings of any old book that might agree with me on this. -
2017-02-24 at 11:26 PM UTC in Green day is gayThey had something really great, especially International Superhits with some of its prime, unreleased content. You're gayer for jumping on the hate train like the smug little degenerate you are than they are for wearing makeup (something any artist who's put out a music video has to do).

2017-02-23 at 7:48 PM UTC in Looking for a laptopMy highest priorities are efficient multitasking, portability. and internet connectivity. I'm not really attached to conventional operating systems, so if you have a good bit to share about Chromebooks or Linux, I'll keep an open mind. Any suggestions?

2017-02-13 at 8:28 PM UTC in I need some boner helpMaca root powder is available at most health food/vitamin stores and I think it might be just what you're looking for. It's not cheap, given it's basically remnants of a variety of harvested tubers, but it's a hell of a lot cheaper than pharmaceutical helpers and it packs some serious punch. If Viagra/Cialis are too expensive, maca might be worth trying for you.

2017-02-12 at 2:40 PM UTC in I need some boner helpCheck viagra.com and cialis.com, they have vouchers that can bring down your copay somewhat but you'll want to keep getting samples from your MD. I wish I could say it gets better than this, but part of the problem is that you're buying domestically. I can't promise it's much better if you buy from, say, Canada or India, but a US pharmacy I can guarantee will not have the best prices.

Originally posted by Bill Krozby a couple years ago, that girl I posted about that looked like she could be my sister.. I offered to take her to a badass hotdog restaurant and I had got kinda krunk before she came to pick me up, and on the way there she was yawning and acting bored and saying how after I take her out she's going to go home and sleep because she has church in the morning (she asked about wanting to exclusively see eachother, but if church is going to get in the way of me getting pussssaaaay on a saturday night thats just not going to work for me) I told her to take me home and that I loathe her parents, she started crying. Never saw her again.
That's horrible, how can you post about doing so many horrible things when you are just one degenerate? -

2017-02-10 at 9:52 PM UTC in Anyone ever experience sleep paralysis!!?Yeah, I've seen the man with the fedora and I've seen the tall, hooded one, and I've been accosted by a succubus. I have narcolepsy, so being caught frequently in hypnogogia has introduced me to a wide variety of sleep phenomenon such as this.

2017-02-10 at 8:18 PM UTC in how would you date me?I'd take you out to a nice restaurant, where we'd order totally different things but end up sharing half of our own dishes anyway. Over dinner I'd ask you direct questions about yourself and listen earnestly when you respond, and we'd engage you in thoughtful and mutually satisfying conversation about the conditions of our lives.

2017-02-08 at 6:09 PM UTC in I'm actually under government surveillance.Okay so this is what you do: Using your mother's name, file a FOIA request from your public library, pertaining to each person on your street. Stake out by her house and time how long it takes her to get arrested, and you'll know 1. that you have a tail, 2. what government agency or agents are acting, and 3. I'm not sure if you noticed, you have a Polish sausage hanging out the fly of your khakis.
