Like I like a lot of music that was on the radio in the 90's / early 2000's , and I liked bands like incubus, korn, slipknot but you wont here any of that stuff on the radio but you will here candy ass stuff preformed by guys that look like they couldn't fight there way out of derpadew wet paper bag, like the band passion pit, the only people ive heard from that like that band are fat basic bitches that spend all there money so they can drive mustang gt's and work for the newspaper
But who knows maybe greenday has always been shills but they won't admit it, I saw a green gay behind the muisc documenty about them in the 90's and they made it a point to go on about how they were against corporations..
And they have been wearing the red and black nazi uniforms with black suits and red ties, just like marilyn manson, interpol, slipknot all started doing back in 2006/2007, fucking wreaks of corporate rock Nazism (and its only those bands from the 90's that now dress like that, weird eh?)

Old punk comes from Garage Rock .. predating the 1960s. perhaps going back to early 50s. Beatles were garage (Garage Punk) before they went Mod in the early mid 60s. they sold out to be trendy to make mainstream Mod
They're my favorite band and the only music I even listen to. Every single Green Day song is pure gold. I've seen them live dozens of times and met them all in person over 5 times. I Skype with Billy Joe and smoke meth with the drummer.

They had something really great, especially International Superhits with some of its prime, unreleased content. You're gayer for jumping on the hate train like the smug little degenerate you are than they are for wearing makeup (something any artist who's put out a music video has to do).

I don't jump on bandwagons, It's my opinion as a musician and someone that listened to their music for years, asshole. And yeah even the weatherman puts on makeup, but they don't wear mascara and look like the crow. How are you even proving a point?
