2021-12-24 at 1:02 PM UTC in Turning my 2 bedroom apartment into an efficiency.Currently I have this short hallway separating my sleeping quarters from my gaming quarters and I'm not young like I use to be and all the walking is taking it's toll on my body.
My goal this weekend is to move my bed out into my living room and surround it with tv's and computers so that I don't have to do much moving around.
Then I can give each cat a bedroom and/or just close the rooms off and save on heating.
The landlady wouldn't let me downsize so I'm going to show her. -

Shit hurts all day everyday.
Can't look left or right.
Im stuck trying to safely cross the street and can't.
Looking up is not even an option.
I spend all day trying not to move my head around.
Laying on a pillow is even uncomfortable as it moves my head slightly and causes discomfort.
When I wake up its sore and stiff.
Radiating pain down into my upper back just making me a cranky old crank.
I thought I had just slept funny last weekend and it would go away after a while but it had been nearly a week and it feels no better.
I'm not really sure I like being in my 30's... -

Pretty sure if I call it something else I can find them cheaper...
I'm just not sure what to look for.
I just want a 100 foot long continuous tunnel to run through my house that my cats can play in and that I can trip over.

2021-12-23 at 4:45 AM UTC in Fona 12-22-2021They led us to believe we would get off work early so I pushed hard to make it happen but what really went down was my team lead is taking off tomorrow so we worked all night so he got 8 hours today and will again tomorrow for PTO.
Meanwhile I get to be extra sore and go into work tomorrow and get fucked with more.
They will probably send first shift home with full bellies after doing a couple hours of fucking around and when my shift shows up I'll be lucky to find a cold chicken nugget and get off before my regular time.
Damn bitches can get fucked cuz tomorrow I will be spending a lot of time taking a shit. -

All had been cut open and gone through but everything was there.
I still called Amazon and told the Indian I wanted a full refund so basically I just got someone to open my boxes for me and scored $126 worth of shit for free.
I plan on ordering more expensive shit and doing it again next time. -
2021-12-22 at 6:34 PM UTC in Women can be pretty stupid sometimes.This lady I work with who is probably in her mid to late 50's has been yapping on and on about getting to finally see her long distance boyfriend for the holidays.
The story is they met online somehow and he is stationed overseas in Turkey working for the US military and is some high up fancy pants.
They have never met in person but apparently have been talking for several months.
On Monday she took off work to go pick him up at the airport and she had taken the rest of the week off to spend with him.
On Tuesday she came back to work and I had to ask how her boyfriend was and her reply was that he got stopped at the airport in Turkey because he had morphine (prescribed) in his bag so they beat him up and threw him in jail.
I almost tried to act shocked but instead just went "right..."
So I asked her what she did and she said "I sent him a bunch of money to get out of jail."
And I said "right..."
Then I asked her if I could see a picture of him and she showed me a picture of what looks like a young Justin Beeber.
Then she went on about how he works at the embassy there and they won't even help him.
I said "right..."
And for the rest of the night I heard her repeat this load of shit story to all the people she worked around and the women were all like "OMG that cray cray."
and all the men were like "right..."
I wouldn't be surprised one fucking bit to find out she has been sending some guy she has never met nor will ever meet money for months.
And of course everything seems picture perfect in her head.
Im sorry but no young kid in the military (not that he is even real) is going to be trying to long distance hook up with this old hag of a woman.
I wanted to hit her with a big red flag and could have because I know she wouldn't see it. -

2021-12-22 at 4:26 PM UTC in Upgrading ram in a Lenovo x230Currently it only has 8gb and I did notice an increase in performance when I upgraded my Optiplex from 8gb to 16gb.
Computers are pretty expensive right now and I only plan on using it for coding purposes.
I am not trying to spend a bunch of money on an upgrade for an old laptop but getting a new one is too costly.
Im sure I won't get my money back out of it upgrading it so I'm trying to find some inexpensive ram to buy.
Any suggestions on where to look? -

Not much going on yet today.
I just woke up a little bit ago and drank my coffee.
My only plans for today are to cook lunch, clean, wrap a couple gifts for the cats and go pick up a prescription.
My neck still hurts from sleeping funny last Saturday and laying still in bed is about the only time I don't notice it as much.
Last night at work was kind of dumb.
Everyone was pissed off they want to change our hours and pretended like we could vote on it when we all knew that really they already made the decision.
The trans girl at work started flipping out about some product being in the wrong spot and no one seemed to care and I had to tell her to relax and that it isn't any of our jobs to worry about that.
Then she said everyone got fired the other day because they sucked at their jobs and not because my employer is a jack ass so I told her I would bet her money it happens again next year and she didn't seem to like the idea I might be right about it.
Really it wasn't a bad day for me or anything as all I did was walk in circles for 5 hours and pack some boxes for an hour and a half before going home early.
But once home I did absolutely nothing besides eat and watch King of the Hill.
I slept/laid in bed for 12 hours.
Honestly I can't even focus on posting right now and am just typing to type. -

Last night at work was like taking 2 steps backwards.
With so many people fired we all were tasked with doing grunt work to get the day done.
It felt like eyes were watching me and they probably were as there wasn't many others to pay attention too.
All I could do was use humor and sarcasm to get through the day because it did really suck knowing that this was the norm again.
I am glad I will have my hours back but I didn't want them this way.
Also, I can't help but wonder if my company is actually going under.
Slept good last night and woke up around 10:30.
Spent a little time looking at job postings but there really are not many that interest me and even fewer that pay good enough for me to consider at the moment.
Doing some laundry and bullshitting around then I plan on running my buddy up to the tobacco store just so I can catch up with him.
There really isn't much for me to do today so I plan on cleaning a bit and just getting ready for work.
My neck hurts still from the weekend.
I slept on my back while on one of those pillows for side sleepers and it fucked me up.
Anyways, enough here.
I gotta jump start my day and do some stuff.

It is line work and hard line work at that but I didn't mind too much when I did it before.
Last time I worked there I got fired for a dirty piss test.
With the state of my current job I am no longer short on hours but it is something to think about.
Honestly I'd probably make more money going there but it is a little far away from where I am now and the travel time is a big turn off.
Im keeping it in mind though. -

He is retiring this week and I would like to spend more time with him with or with out her.
It's been a long time since we really did anything fun together.
My recent memories of spending time with him has been either when I get roped into helping with something, funerals, or before that (drinking) and what I'd like to do is just hang out or something...
Idk, I am sure we hung out recently at some point but it usually revolved around some sort or errand.
I guess I see my mom way more than I see him anymore and it won't ever be like it was but I can still try.
