Lancer rough idle problem
I did just find my OBD2 scanner so I will be reading the codes when I go over there in a couple days.

The hood stole my hood!
Rabbitweed sent me this awesome hat a few weeks ago and I immediately fell in deep love with it and the hat became a part of my soul.
Left it in the center console and some little hood rat hobo stole it over night.
Now I am devastated and furious. Can't stop thinking about murder.
I don't even have a picture of it :(
It was the coolest hat ever though and had a big "F" on the front.

PT Curiser, yes or no?
2006 with 48k miles on it.
Runs and drives just fine.
All it needs is the inside cleaned out.
The price is $2k
My girlfriend is jumping at it due to the mileage and price but I've already tied my rent up in a Lancer I've yet to do anything with.
After looking up what they are selling for on FB Im not sure we could make much money buying and flipping it.
I'm sure we could sell it for more than $2k but after taxes and everything would it be worth tying more money up and going through the headache of trying to sell it?
Like seriously who the hell wants a PT Cruiser?
That's why they call them PT Losers...

Lancer rough idle problem
I don't have it at my apartment to go outside and mess with.
I'm going to hopefully fuck with it this week.
I was too tired yesterday to do much with it although I did reset the icm and I pulled apart the air intake to see what kind of shape the enhancement was in.
Until I get back there I will be researching different things to try.

It needs 2 new tires too but Amazon is selling new ones that fit it for $75 each. If I decide to keep it I would get new ones otherwise Im not sure how hard it would be finding used ones for it but I would go get some used ones. Im going to call around a junk yard or 2 and see if they have any lancers I can get an ignition control module from and see if that is in fact the problem.
Im going to try throttle body cleaner first and honestly it might just be a shitty injector or something.
Im pretty sure it is an aluminum engine block because of how damn loud the injectors sound when it starts to crap out idling.
I meant to take a video of it for you guys today but forgot.
Tomorrow Im going to get the title notarized and will go back and get the plates off it to return to the owner so I will try and take a video then.
It's suppose to be a little nicer tomorrow anyways so Ill try the throttle body cleaner while Im there and if that helps great but if not Ill maybe fiddle with it the following day or take it to a shop. Its just too cold and Im on 10 hour shifts right now.

Lancer rough idle problem
Im on the fence about what to do with it.
It has 217k miles on it which is a lot more than my ford does but it also gets a lot better gas mileage too.
Either way, common sense tells me that I don't need 2 cars.
I do drive quite a bit.
If I end up getting it fixed and selling it I might go ahead and sell my other car too and look for something a bit more fuel efficient.
Right now I am averaging about 180-200 miles each week and my ford gets 17 miles per gallon.
That lancer was getting 26 miles per gallon what little I did drive it this weekend.

Lancer rough idle problem
Doesn't matter if it is in gear or not.
Once it warms up though it idles rough.
Sometimes stalls idling.
The lady I bought it from said the dealership told her it was the ignition control module.
Im not sure if it is or not and haven't had any time to do any more than stare at it.
Apparently it is a pretty common problem with these cars but it can be a number of things.
Currently it is 17 degrees outside so Im not really trying to fuck with it out in a cramped garage.
Other than maybe getting some throttle body cleaner and spraying it around the intake and cleaning off some sensors I don't want to get any filthier than that with it being so cold.
I'm trying to call a mechanic to see how backed up he is working on cars to see if I can just take it to him.
Anyone have any ideas?

Got a 2004 Pontiac GTP today.
I am really hoping its nothing.
Tomorrow morning Im going to call him and ask what it was running like when he parked it.
I'll know when I get there if he was bullshitting me on the phone and if he lets me freeze my dick off troubleshooting it instead of just coming clean and saying he got a little too happy with the gas pedal Im going to be pissed and not help him anymore with anything.
Let me find out it was 10 degrees outside and he was driving it like a jackass and blew the motor in a day...

Unless the lady backs out I already told her I would buy it without even having seen it in person.
If the deal goes through Ill either drive it or fix what is wrong and turn around and sell it.
$1500 investment wont cripple me if it turns out to be a lemon although I'll still be a little annoyed.

Hey guys.
Starting to think my neck pain might be caused by my shoulder being out of place.
It is really uncomfortable but seems to be only affecting one side of my neck.
It is quite annoying and not going away.
I'm going to start with maybe some different pillows and see if that helps but it also could just be caused by work too.
Lately I've been trying to work in the mornings and have failed due to being exhausted and not having enough time in the day.
Really sucks I am not able to balance 2 jobs at once right now.
This weekend my plans include wither buying a 2nd car or going flooring shopping.
Secretly I am building a new office for myself in my girlfriends basement so I can clown down there when it's just me.
Thinking of some cheap snap together type shit or just anything that doesn't involve glue really.
Of course she doesn't know I'm doing this so I will have to be super sneaky and build a fake wall or something.
I don't think she goes down there anyways.
Any suggestions on easy to work with and install flooring that is going over concrete?
