2019-03-14 at 8:10 AM UTC in Why do you aspire to be a nigger, in space?Because in space, all manner of human imagination can be achieved through sheer dedication of the will.
Maybe we'll discover new life forms? New cures for diseases? New psychoactive drugs that allow us to gaze upon the very face of God?
All matters of melanin-concentration aside, we are on the verge of a brave new world.

I am the true definition of a free spirit, you will never be as free as I am. I am a contradiction to my today, out of place, distant, which I embrace fully. Nietzsche calls this "Pathos of Distance"
https://muse.jhu.edu/article/178966
"free spirits are said to possess all the traits Nietzsche praises. Ruth Abbey, for instance, characterizes the values constitutive of free spirithood as "autonomy in thought and action, intellectual strength and daring, desire and ability to pursue the truth, capacity for cruelty and the skills of dialogue."9 While it is true that Nietzsche does suggest that the dialogue is the perfect conversation,10 he nowhere associates skills in dialogue with a free spirit. Instead, the free spirit is strongly associated with isolation, which would tend to preclude conversation, skilful or otherwise."

2019-03-13 at 10:13 PM UTC in clonazepamHere's how I recently (subjectively, of course) ranked the benzos I've tried:
Originally posted by gadzooks I actually prefer benzos in the following order:
1. Diazepam (valium).
2. Clonazepam (klonopin).
3. Alprazolam (xanax).
4. Etizolam.
5. Not even doing benzos.
6. Lorazepam (ativan).
7. Phenazepam.
Those are the only ones I've tried thus far, tho.
The thing is, though, there are a multitude of factors that come into play:
1. Duration of effect.
2. Impact on memory (benzo blackouts are a bitch - and fucking dangerous).
3. How effective they are at relieving anxiety and promoting relaxation.
I wouldn't expect too much, getting your hopes up and all...
I almost exclusively just use benzos to help ease stimulant crashes, or when I'm having a really hard time falling asleep.
And of course, during times of overwhelming anxiety. -

2019-03-13 at 3:41 AM UTC in How many people actually hooked up on DH?Honestly, the whole meeting people to date online thing is kinda foreign to me.
I prefer the serendipitous romance of a spontaneous encounter.
You see someone IRL, and, as you exchange glances, your eyes meet and sort of just lock for a few seconds (although it feels like much longer). Then you go on a spontaneous improvised date right then and there. Sparks start flying... Romance is in the air.
Whatever happened to good old-fashioned romance?
