I put an ad for myself and looked for help wanted ads. I don't remember the category. Miscellaneous or something. But yeah I did both, just put my number in my ad and told people to text/call.
I had a car but the people always had a truck or a u haul or whatever. I was just a helping hand. And yes broke college kid will work well, and vet, unless you're helping broke college kids move.
One couple I helped actually asked me, when we were done, and eating pizza they ordered for us, how much I thought I deserved. Of course that's sort of awkward and you don't want to sound greedy so I was like uhh, idk, like 10 dollars an hour I guess? And he's like no.
