Anyweay, hyrdo my bae, my hard bae, I read every goddamn word you write, like sometimes I get high and I just read every letter you write out, and sound em out, and bask in what Io know is many many words to come and seriously thanks cuz when I'm high and staring at walls and focused but not I like to find a thing a task a focus and it becomes your posts and they just make me feel alive, healthy, understandable, excitable, and READY, quite frankly. I FEEL READY.

"Bro, did you see Jake last night? After we gave him crayons and forced his head underwater he was totally drowing all over the side of the pool before he died. What a loser!"

Go to your room, monny. We don't talk to people like that on this website. Now you think about what you said and why it's wrong. You can come out tomorrow. And no dinner or video games!
I love the no dinner approach. That could be a very powerful discipline if you extend that to a day or even 2 or 3 depending on what they've done.
Obviously you'd have to lock them in a room so they couldn't get access to food.
And then watching them come out as you open the door a full 48 hours later, for the first time. Their pale skin, weakened, zombie like demeanor. Stomachs shrunken so they're not even hungry anymore. Just tired. And sad. And they'll know they won't be stealing a can of soda out of the fridge next time, not without asking first.
I bet it would only take one or two of these episodes to make a dramatic impact. I was sort of joking at first but as I wrote this I think I genuinely changed my mind and find this would be very effective.
I'm doing it. I'm having a child.
