I understand. I guess it's not really up to me to make that call but you're right, it's contagious to our simple American minds who so often seem to champion whatever is being blabbed on about in order to feel 'involved,' regardless of it even makes sense to them.
That's why you have your folks like Hikiko who are quick to profess the nation's problems are to blame on liberals, but can't or won't provide what exactly that means and who specifically fits that category.
We just want to hop on cringebook, say some buzzwords and make a few vague generalizations so as to appear 'in the know,' maybe throw out a couple 'so sad, thoughts and prayers' comments to remind everyone how sympathetic we are, and then get the fuck back to our whatever the fuck it is we do- being mad at Netflix for something and fist-fighting our family members over Starbucks coffee then uploading aftermath pics to Instagram. I think those are the three things that we do.
Needless to say, I'm just as guilty as mindlessly wasting away into my glowing rectangles, but I like to think I'm a tad more keen to the comprehension and understanding of our reality than "the masses" are.
Either way I lately sure as shit haven't been doing anything to 'make a difference, so my next best alternative is to observe and question, pick my battles and choose a more reverent approach as opposed to a screaming preacher's mentality of repetition and incistance.
