It's not a coincidence that most of these victims took the money: there was coercion involved. A rape victim isn't in the mindset to be handling their legal affairs, so when some jedi puts the squeeze on them, they give. Painting the situation as though they're enabling him with full cognizance doesn't apprehend the full scope of his crime because when they were given the choice, it really wasn't presented as a choice at all.
I think his side still holds up. All of that being true, then .. yep. That's what happened. And you should lose your right to bring it up a bunch of years later. You're aiding and abetting the longer you stay quiet, it's that simple.
