you presume that the tribal behavior was centered around physical characteristics, yet almost certainly tribes still formed in populations with homogeneous racial traits (e.g. clans in the north of your homeland, probably similar in the south of the island).
tribes form, and that's a good thing is all you can really conclude. -

you can build tribal loyalty on all sorts of characteristics (e.g. skin color, football strip color), but using physical characteristics as a proxy for other characteristics (like skin color inferring intelligence) seems pretty dumb.
i'd say it's the reason your racist home country is so fucked now, it was run by self-aggrandizing retards at all levels, who really were not as smart as they liked to think. -
