Try Amazon. There are a lot of Chinese sellers. Some have free shipping and low priced items but it takes forever for them to arrive.

I take shit apart all the time. Right now I have an old LinkSys Router, a Magellan GPS Roadmate, and some other shit, all on my kitchen counter. Just found a bunch of X-mas lights today as well(the good ones that are small little LEDs inside the bigger plastic light-looking tubes).
You should get a toolbox to store those little parts in and then you should start connecting them to a board and make something.
Do any of you that run Ubuntu(or any Distro that uses Gnome) have an issue when letting Gnome-Software(which is the automatic update utility, is set to on by default, and required removing from startup apps to disable) run? I was having some serious over-heating issues and my CPU was running at 100% non-stop on a semi-fresh install. I tracked it all to "Gnome-Software", and after disabling it, things are way better. I had programs crashing, my cursor kept repositioning to the upper left of my screen(which I think may have been to the touch-screen resetting due to something crashing), my SP3 was extremely hot to the touch, the fans were blasting non-stop on it, everything was running slow...
After disabling, it's quiet, warm but not hot, no fans running, everything is running smooth, no cursor problem, just running great. Way faster, smooth and enjoyable. Completely different.
I searched around and it looks like other have had the same problem. I'm wondering if I should do the same on my desktop PC...

best vpn for deep web shit?
I suggest, a prepaid device > TOR > Internet. Seems like paying cash for a prepaid service that's registered with bogus info would be better than paying for a VPN on your own internet service. Unless your already doing this and wanting to add in a VPN for an extra layer of protection.

cheap source of computar bits
I keep my eye out around dumpsters for electronics. I then desolder out parts. I almost bought a couple of antenas off Amazon but remembered that I had an old router a previous employer threw away. Saved $10.
Dumpsters FTW.
