Does it seem to you like Australia has a higher proportion of child abusers? It seems like closed communities have higher proportions, such as islands and native reserves, do you notice this is the case in AU?
Aboriginal communities are notorious for it, but in general I don't think so. I've known a couple of molestees but they were Asian so I dunno how much of a datapoint that is. I think DCS and the police are much more intrusive into family matters than in other countries though, so numbers might be higher just because there's more enforcement

Around 25% of Pakistan's population is Shia. Some people claim that the founder of Pakistan, Muhammad Ali Jinnah, was a Shia. But that he did not mention it because of political reasons. Others claim he was Shia but later became Sunni.
