Well I don't take much in terms of subs (2-4mg) and most of their action is probably dedicated to fighting the other opiates in my system so I don't really give it a chance to build up. It's a shitty cycle to be in but today I've already taken suboxone and spoken harshly to someone over the phone so I'm on the right track -

I'm glad you brought up the invasion of Iraq, in that, the US started with targeted airstrikes setting the ground conditions, then moved with regional and international allies in thr north send south, quickly destroying infrastructure and seizing strategic objectives like the basra oil field and kicking the iraqi army out of the north within days. They encountered little resistance alot of the way and only had a few hundred casualties. Comparing, at this point they were about to take Baghdad and victory was certain. Obviously a very different scenario. Russia did a few things right (using Belarus to launch troops but didn't use mpldova/transnistria for some reason, perhaps because the part of Ukraine is borders is prett5 irrelevant) and made attempts to take out bases (bypassing some when encounter resistance), infrastructure and the internet, however they completely failed to adapt to changing conditions (Ukrainians blew all the bridges out so let's just go around and end up in choke points hurr) and left their troops spread super thin.
Anyway, any way you slice it Russia bit off more than they can chew with Ukraine and overplayed their hand. That's just facts, you can debate the finer points but this is obviously not the result Russia wanted -

Just a harm reduction alternative probably geared more towards people with actual chronic pain. My city has a safe supply, government sponsored shoot up sites and everything, the worst part is I know the scumbag grifters who get government money from it.
Either way my goal should be to get off all opiates entirely but that might require a gradual step to a drug I haven't struggled with for half my life. I was prescribed kadian before and have abused them but they're not my DOC and have better pain reliving qualities than subs ,which I also find wear off quickly and is hard to sleep on.
I'm gonna take subs tomorrow and get back in the gym and yell at people over the phone and achieve things. This is my destiny -

My doctor works at th3 methadone clinic too and I know the director so I'm pretty sure I won't have to deal with alot of the hurtles most other New admissions deal with (dirct observation, specific times for pickup, piss tests etc) and my doctor just might write me a script for them and tell me to go to town.
Either way, I really need to stop sticking things up my shnozz before it dwarfs hikki's -

This is true sometimes but not all the time (Panama, Guatemala, the entire concept of colonialism etc) but it's true this war the cost is high for both sides domestically and the Russians are apparently ever increasingly grumbling over sanctions (but likely put the blame at the wests feet). Russia has had stability for longer but are used to economic hardship, it's hard to see if the cost will cause people to blame their internal politics or not -
