Military Genius Zelensky wants Ukrainians to throw molotovs at Russian tanks

  1. Good thing "I Just Shit My Pants" Biden is at the controls.

Withdrawal from Irpin, unable to even take Sumy, insurgency in Kherson keeping troops there, failed offensives into mikawhatever west of kherson, being nowhere near dnipro, trouble controlling highways in Luhansk that should have been secured right away, recruiting drive starting April 1st leaves recruits months away from minimum training required for combat, ukraine being able to get warm bodies from international dumbasses while russia's drive just complicates their demographic issues etc etc

Crappy Job all around Putin. 2/10. I believed in you 💔

Did Putin really expect that Ukraine would just roll over? That's never happened even once in the entire history of war.

Hitler had a very similar idea when invading the Soviet Union “We have only to kick in the door and the whole rotten structure will come crashing down.” Fast forward to the Red Army doing to Berlin what they just did to Mariupol.

But anyone who was going on about Russian propaganda whenever we would criticise Hillary needs to explain where the Russian propaganda brigades are in this war. It seems to me like Russia has completely lost the online PR war after basically no effort.

Even RT is rekt, banned everywhere, all the hosts, like Max Keiser, George Galloway, etc, quit in disgust.

I just can't get my head around how the Russians could have been so stupid. Now they will have to fight on, win a long bloody military victory, because they can't do much else. Peace talks are a farce until Ukraine is willing to concede territory, and they aren't ready for that.

It's like Shakespeare line about "Cry havoc and let slip the dogs of war?". You let the dogs of war lose, and you can't just put them back in their kennels. You start a war and you either fight until you win or you lose.

In a Shakespearean play shoigu would dress up like a female figure skater then stab putin with a skate who makes a long dramatic monologue before he dies.

But how tf can the war realistically end? Ukraine not giving up Crimea is retarded, if they're protesting that point and don't want to officially relinquish a territory they never really had, they're just being obstructive for obstructions sake.

Oh look, a state sponsor of terrorism is telling people to fight an unwinnable battle for ideological reasons despite the humanitarian cost.

Edit: literally every sentence in that opinion piece of hilariously ridiculous

  13. Originally posted by Sudo …it's a month into the invasion with no major victories, all estimates have 5-10% of Russian front line troops KIA with 2 or 3 times the number wounded. Troops are spread thin af and making very limited gains. It's extremely easy to tell the war is not going as planned and every objective has hit snags. Haven't been able to encircle kharkiv or advance beyond the outskirts, haven't even officially taken mariupol yet, haven't encircled kharkiv, haven't made it near Odessa, have had tanks and SAM'S captured, have had to call in units from other regions to replace destroyed Russian units, have Ukrainians turning on each other and being pretty galvanized for being a previously fractured and corrupt hellhole, have had to withdraw from areas, leaving equipment behind, logistics failures, lavrov admitting the objectives are no where near met, chechans being unable to coordinate with the Russian army proper, sending 18 year old recruits to the front lines, the international support for Ukraine, sanctions on Russia, no capitulation from Russian speaking areas bordering donbass etc etc etc

I could go on it's pretty obvious it's not going as planned and any path to a quick and decisive victory would require a huge effort, cost and risk for Russia, which they're unlikely to attempt unless it's absolutely necessary (massive airstrikes and air dropping tens of thousands of troops from Eastern russia) so its basically a war of attrition at this point and Ukraine doesn't seem to care much for the civilian cost.

There isn't going to be any 3 pronged lightning advance and troops aren't going to successfully siege Kiev. Russia can't afford the manpower necessary to hold the cities it needs to to even get enough troops to successfully take Kiev. A decisive Russian victory will take a long time and have a high cost, militarily, internationally and domestically. I'm not sure how they plan to pull it off because as it stands right now they're obviously frustrated with how things have played out. A peaceful solution is the only way, likely with no NATO, no biolabs, relinquish Crimea and a special autonomous status for donbass. If they're far apart on that deal right now it's going to take a quite a while for them to get closer

the one thing that determines the outcome of every ethical war since time immemorial is living standard.

forces that belong to the group with higher living standard will always lose to forces belonging to the group with lower living standard.

This is true sometimes but not all the time (Panama, Guatemala, the entire concept of colonialism etc) but it's true this war the cost is high for both sides domestically and the Russians are apparently ever increasingly grumbling over sanctions (but likely put the blame at the wests feet). Russia has had stability for longer but are used to economic hardship, it's hard to see if the cost will cause people to blame their internal politics or not

    star trek,

It's not about total sums but about the distribution... Ukraine had been making progress toward better distribution while Russia is becoming ever more stratified...

They were comparing median not average incomes.

It's also important to not pay too much attention when Russia talks about withdrawing... Russian talk of deescalation is usually a prelude for new attacks somewhere else. The Russian government is totally without honor and nothing it says should be believed without corroboration.
  17. The trick is to keep all eyes glued on an event happening on the other side of the planet, while the crooks and traitors destroy your own country here at home. It's working very well, considering the double-digit IQ of the average westerner.

Russia has been fighting Ukraine for 8 years they definitely know what they were getting in to, who's telling you they aren't doing well? is it supposition? and are their objectives supposition?
