Oh, I know.
I could, myself, poke hundreds of holes in this so-called "utopia".
But part of the fantasy is that I can either ignore all these downsides, or plan accordingly.
Like, I could bring all kinds of medical stuff for myself, but, of course, it raises the problem that I'd feel like a selfish ass for not sharing it with people around me, but, on the other hand, if I actually did share it, it would basically modify history so much that it would pretty much ensure I'm never born.
It might also get me killed by an angry mob for "witchcraft/sorcery".

Ultimately, a lot of Slavic names seem to come from similar roots as Anglo-Saxon, Scandinavian, Latin, and other European names...
One of my close friends is Ukranian and named Alex (at least, that's the Anglicized/shortened version).
Ivan is super common in Russia, and, interestingly, it comes from the same origin as John.

2019-01-07 at 9:25 PM UTC in Life is total bullshit.Actually, another vision I had of a "utopia" (when I was in my opiate addiction stage in life) was building a time machine, and bringing a bunch of gold (for trading as currency - since contemporary money obviously wouldn't work) or some other precious metal/resource, and going to about the ~1890's, or whenever opiates and cocaine were sold for pennies at your local neighbourhood pharmacy.
I'd also visit a lot of brothels and get some of that $0.05 full service massage with happy ending.
Of course, I'd also bring condoms and antibiotics, though. -

I used to be in it.
My vision of utopia was pretty much exactly that - fields of opium poppies as far as the eye can see.
However, being opiate-free for several years can really affect your priorities and idea of "a perfect life."
It's kind of fascinating actually, from a psychological and philosophical perspective. -

If I were having kids, though, I'd use a name from the bible.
Not because I'm religious; in fact, I'm anything but.
Biblical names, though, are kind of a go-to standard.
The more creative/exotic you try to get, the more risk you're taking of your kid being ridiculed later in life (especially in elementary and high school).
E.g.: Adam, David, Daniel, etc. Elizabeth (derived from biblical), Rachel, Sarah, etc. -

Is there a number of characters after which they cut you off? E.g.: Could you name your kid Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa(…) Johnson?
Can you use punctuation? E.g.: @nth0ny Johnson?
Can you use any unicode character?

2019-01-07 at 7:08 PM UTC in Phenibut - Real Shit or Snake Oil?Okay, so I did a bunch of reading up on it, and am currently kind of transitioning myself from my current (prescribed) benzo taper to the phenibut.
So with each passing day, I take less and less diazepam, and gradually increase the phenibut dosage.
I took 2mg of diazepam this morning along with ~1.5 grams of phenibut.
Tonight, before going to sleep, my goal is to take 1mg diazepam along with ~1-1.5 grams of phenibut.
Then tomorrow morning it's 1mg of diazepam with ~2g of phenibut (if everything goes as planned).
That will be my last benzo dose.
I'll experiment a bit with the phenibut dosage until I tweak it to a suitable dose.
If it helps me completely transition off of the more "heavy hitter" GABAergics like GHB, alcohol, and benzos, without any more physical withdrawal symptoms, I will consider it a fantastic experience.
If I notice any other improvements, such as reduced anxiety compared to before all the heavy usage of the aforementioned GABAergics, or better social skills, or improved sleep, then those would all end up being bonus outcomes. -
