Umm.. You mean that "Jump to Top" button at the bottom of every thread?
Btw... Kind of annoying that you of all people would find such a thing a necessary feature.
Its literally just your posts (not always, but occasionally), and your buddy/hero infinityshock, that make me use that button.
The irony is palpable.

Well, money is more efficient than a direct bartering system.
Back when we used to trade X number of goats for Y bushels of grain, even though a mutual agreement might satisfy both parties, it still requires negotiation, which means BOTH parties are compromising.
In economics there's a term called utility, which is a measure of how satisfied each party in a trade are with what they received as a result.
In pure bartering systems, utility levels will almost always be less than ideal for at least one engaging party, and almost always for both.

Oh, and I just remembered... I actually saw Necro live once... Completely by accident too.
It was Halloween of 2017.
I went to the local bar (by myself) after a few drinks, and was circulating, talking to pretty much everyone. Then I ran into a gal that worked at the nearby liquor store who recognized me as a regular customer.
She said she was just about to head over to the club (ONLY NIGHT CLUB IN TOWN around here). I hopped in the cab with her.
It turned out it was Necro performing.
I figured it out by recognizing his voice (he has a distinctive voice).

It evokes all kinds of memories of dozens of people scattering and booking it from the cops. Then like an hour later I came back, and we'd smoke some weed, have a few drinks, and watch a movie or something.
Then Saturday morning comes around and we'd break out the Bacardi 151 and the hot knives.
I don't smoke much weed lately, but back in the day it was a major part of my day-to-day life.
But hot knives... and shot after shot of 151... in the morning...
It was like living life with some kind of cheat code enabled... Being ~18 and all.
Not a care in the world...
I miss that.

Yeah I honestly wouldn't even try.
Then again, it depends on what your computing needs are exactly...
I've noticed that the following are some of the biggest drains on computing resources:
1. Internet browsers - the more tabs, the worse it gets. This is always going to use the vast majority of your computing resources.
2. IDE's... If you do any programming, and use an IDE (instead of, say, Notepad++ or VIM or something like that), then that will take up the next biggest portion of resources.
3. Games. I put this in third only because I never use my PC for gaming. But, I imagine this would actually be way above Internet browsing, actually. I have no frame of reference, though. Interestingly, though, it's worth noting that I look for computing systems suitable for intense gaming. It's simply because I know that they are going to be equipped to deal with lots of multitasking and all that, and won't start freezing up while I'm immersed in some kind of task.
If you're doing any kind of multimedia editing... whether high resolution images; videos; or whatever... That's another big resource drain.
After all that is taken into consideration, you just need to keep an eye on your task/process manager to determine if anything else is especially burdensome. If so, either find a more efficient alternative, or... find a way to do without it entirely.
You'd be surprised with how few applications you currently have installed - perhaps even running - that you really don't even need at all.
