They had several different kinds of heaters. I believe this one is forced heat. It is 1500 watts. How much will this cost to run??
I am going to also keep my apartment closed in half since most of the time we are not in the bedroom or bath or hallway. That should help too.
The other heaters were radiator kind, quartz, ceramic (some looked like real fireplaces), and one other kind I couldnt find. Which kind is best?
I plan on returning this one tomorrow as it came with a dent on it.
The cons of this one are that it has no thermostat or timer.
Wouldn't one with a thermostat save money?
This one is also kinda loud.
Generally, heaters that incorporate a fan use a lot of power. There may be some exceptions that I don't know about, but that seems to be the general rule.
Oil filled heaters are supposedly some of the more efficient.
Its not just about wattage, but about how efficient the unit is; how much of that power is converted into heat. In the case of a heater with a fan, you run a fan in addition to heating up the coil.
Every place I know of here that refills portable propane tanks charges a significant premium per gallon over gasoline and diesel. Like over a dollar gallon more even though there isn't any road tax on it and it has less energy content, probably because it isn't self-serve and there isn't much competition.
The 20-pound exchange tanks at convenience stores and supermarkets aren't even filled up all the way, they under-fill them to make more money / not have to raise prices when propane goes up.
Portable propane heaters consume the oxygen from your space and at the least load the air up with co2 and water vapour which does not make for the most comfortable environment. They also get extremely hot so they are a fire risk.
So just STFU, put ur thermostat on 60 degrees, post nude selfys of chelly , have them average your electric bill and put on a sweater you atomic piss head.

There's thermal plastic sheets you can tape over the windows in winter and that keeps a lot of the heat from escaping the unit.
You can tape them over your head too.

I need to look into it myself. Maybe he did it wrong but i doubt it because he also hates jedis.
I'm telling you that's your bill dude. It's illegal to earn money.

upgrade the alternator on chelles car and shooplift a big power inverter to connect, then just run her car 24/7 and run extension cords to ur favorite appliances.
put a brick on the accelerator if it doesn't rev up enough on its own. this is totally legal although the power company hates it also on the plus side her car will always be warm when its time for work

They do come and physically ready the meter and then i go outside and yell the numbers at the lady on the phone and she says i owe them money.
Chell called today and the electric jedis said that it is right. Then they said last years January bill was $400 and to expect it next.
Thankfully she set it up so we only pay $90 a month until march and then after that we have to start paying off all the remaining outrageous bills.
I fucking hate jedis. I want them to die.
Just rip off the meter and connect it yourself. the meter is a diagonal piece of metal on the back that connects the four terminals. You need to bridge it in an X
Bottom left to top right, top left to bottom right and that should restore your power
