I'm half-way to being bed ridden.Oculus fucked up with the mediocre resolution, makes solid simulation of computer screens basically impossible which would be an amazing application. Imagine a desktop with some shitty $20 CRT you use for booting and as soon as you got it running you could fire up a simulation of like a 6 array of virtual desktops or something. You could be in some shitty cubicle or something but enjoy working and web browsing or whatever in a fancy italian villa or at the top of a newyork high rise or something.
That isn't realistic yet anyway.
It has to do with hardware requirements. Without foveated rendering they're just unrealistic to achieve mass appeal, which would cause VR to flounder for a while, or at least achieve much slower growth than it could have. Regardless, resolution is only part of the picture, there are multiple aspects that can increase visual quality and immersion without it.
There's a problem with reading fine text in VR right now, so it would really be a terrible idea, for now. -

Isn't it so fitting? It's funny that something like this was noteworthy enough to write about, and the picture I saw on my reddit feed from r/sanfrancisco was noteworthy enough for me to remember (Even I tend to remember random images, I think. They also tend to prefer small talk much more, talking about things that have nothing to do with what their job is supposed to be.

I actually did read that. It drags on too much and the writing quality is mediocre, but he's absolutely accurate and in-group biases are well supported. The insights into leftist culture are valuable and the least commonly examined due to your own bias.
They aren't inherently leftist, but you could argue this about many things. They've still shown clear widespread support among leftists. Why is that? It derives from leftist ideology, from traits that predispose people toward leftist ideologies. You should absolutely be held responsible for what you people have inadvertently done. Without the power of political authority you believe in and seem to deeply cherish you would never have been able to cause so much harm. -

That was me that said that genius, no one in this community knows how to manipulate doctors like I do. I can't afford the treatment anymore anyways because I no longer qualify for Medicaid and it ran out past the cutoff for Obamacare so im fucked this year.
