Lanny, have you ever seen Everclear sold in a store around here? I think I may just get a flask for when I want to spike my drink when out.
I've got a hankering for the $5 cravings deal from Taco Bell. I didn't know they still had it because it's no longer on the website or app, it's an insane value at 1500+ calories. You get all this:
Burrito Supreme: $3.19
Cheesy Gordita Crunch: $2.99
Crunchy Taco: $1.39
Chips w/ Nacho Cheese: $1.39
Medium Soda: $1.89 ($1.00 during happier hour)
Total: $10.85 plus tax
Price of all items in new box deal: $5.00 plus tax
Planning to waltz in there at 4:20

And so...
I'm honestly thinking about eventually building a relatively simple robot with some basic programmable functions, speech and movement, using a kit for the internals, which could be controlled with a smartphone. It would have a highly realistic silicone outer layer. Of course it would be in the likeness of Shinobu, and I would carry it around on my shoulders while outside.
Oh! trackers for a virtual/augmented reality overlay as well.
Last night I was watching Oculus Cinema in bed under a comforter and I noticed that if I grabbed something that above it it almost felt like holding hands with a waifu in the next seat...Wait a minute, why the hell hasn't someone created a mod to let you add a waifu next to you? It's so obvious. Anyway, that combined with the actual hand of my doll, which could also have mechanism for warming the skin, would feel just like the real thing.
My goal is to exist in a perpetual state of moe. It must be what Buddha felt like...
Nah, but it will make it more bearable, allow you to sleep more and fall asleep easier, make time seem to go by faster (fast forward button for life). All around it seems like a pretty good choice.

I have a PO box, but still, I'm cautious and suspicious.
Just tried Oculus Cinema. It was great, the quality was much better than I expected and the environments are pretty cool and well designed. This is way better than viewing them on a computer screen. This will probably be my go-to during a long commute, I can just sit back and block out the rest of the world.
Also noticed that I've been getting pretty sleepy after using the Gear VR. You'd think the blue light from the screen would interfere with that.

Honestly, I'd buy the Baclofen from you, but I'm pretty adverse to the idea of buying something and giving out a mailing address to anyone on this site.

Well, sure, but not much. Only the kpins would be easy to sell. Baclofen is a great drug for certain things, but I doubt you'll be able to find a buyer easily.
I just got the Gear VR because I found a great deal. Good condition Note 5, wireless charger, leather case, and the second version of the Gear VR, made by Samsung and Oculus.
It's a fun toy and you can buy used ones for under $50. If you have a compatible phone, I'd definitely recommend it. Content is severely lacking, unfortunately, in terms of games. It would still be great to view things on during a commute.
I would wait until the second generation of consumer VR products come out.
Oops, I meant girl scout cookie cereal.
Got through the "ight as a feather" portion of Face your Fears. Not what I expected, I thought this one may actually be pleasant and just make you levitate, which was pretty naive. Fucking jumpscares, they still work consistently even in Gear VR.
Feels just like I'm in there because I'm also laying on a bed with my back against a pillow, just like in the game.
Kind of smacked my head against the wall when something flew at me. Actually screamed/yelped lightly during one of the scenes. Hands are lightly sweaty. I'm pretty much only willing to do one of these per day, especially since the ghost story may be the scariest.
This really is a fantastic way to introduce people to VR, it's free and downloads automatically once your phone prompts you to download the Gear VR software.
Just learned that there's now girl scout cookie cereal available. Society is becoming incrementally more indulgent, the decadence is palpable.
One of our resident American stoners should review it.

Came across a Lanny joke:
wife: Could you go to the store and get milk, and if they have eggs get a dozen.
programmer husband returns with a dozen gallons of milk
wife: Why did you get so much milk!?
programmer husband: They had eggs!
There's no way it'll have that much of an effect.
