   The problem is you’re trying to make this place into something it was never meant to be. This was meant to be a catch-all for a subset of a splintered community and it was designed for shitposting. The only thing that keeps people coming back is nostalgia for something that existed a long time ago and ties to a community that has an inflated sense of purpose. Don’t take yourself too seriously and enjoy the ride.

   I assume you mean Under The Dome. If so, it’s not bad. It’s worth slugging through the 1,000+ pages if I recall correctly. Also, per usual, the book is better than the mini show series that was adapted.

   That’s not what I’m saying. I’ve had interviews that were only slotted for 30 minutes, which is difficult to do in such a short amount of time. I’m just saying an interview lasting 45 minutes could hardly be called hardcore compared to some styles that are out there.
   
   The reference to being a real job is I doubt he’s going in to spend 5 minutes going over the handbook before being hired on the spot. Real interviews take time and you need to be prepared when you go in.
