2019-08-08 at 5:32 PM UTC in Question to the homelessI have a friend/acquaintance who recently became homeless. He posts his drama on Facebook and basically acts like a victim. When I offer helpful advice (in response to when he asks questions), he ignores it.
Question to those of you who are homeless. Do you feel like a victim, or do you choose this lifestyle? Why or why not?
I should mention that this guy has mentioned before that he has autism and I genuinely think he has some kind of mental illness. He seems to have bipolar disorder, but possibly also some post-traumatic stress disorder due to how often he refers to the pain and abuse in his past. -

You will still have to pay property taxes (in most places). What will you do for utilities? You mentioned the taxes associated with your utilities, not directly with your property, so you’ll still have the same issue if you want to maintain any kind of civilized lifestyle. -

It’s like saying we should all be white until we are colored in with other colors. Being called black evens the playing field and describes people by the color of their skin like black, white, or brown.
It would be like saying black and colorless are the only two options. Like black is the default and all else is lacking color. -
