   Some denominations are more cult-ish than others. The church I went to as a child was very normal with no pressure to conform to any of it. But I had a friend from across town whose church was essentially exploiting his family for labor and taking large portions of their income, and they would perform exorcisms more frequently than they had to.

    Most straight people I know are fucked up from their straight parents. It's not an issue of masculine or feminine, it's a people problem. Children should not be raised in families, that's a great way to guarantee they get the worst of both parents. Ideally, they wouldn't be conceived in the first place. The ones that are should be raised by a skeleton government branch that treats them with as much empathy as you'd expect from state employees and no more.

    I get the opposite of hangovers. While the people I drink with are vomiting in their beds, I'm firing on all cylinders. I have yet to determine exactly what mechanism is responsible for the anxiolytic euphoria I get after a night of hard drinking, but I suspect it has something to do with GABA.
