I've also written essays better than any Orwell ever wrote on why he was a bitter old man who didn't know how to write because animal farm and 1984 are literally Aesop tier bullshit rhetoric. Orwell's non-fiction is likewise shit curmudgeoning and fully failing to engage in any meaningful discussion of the subjects he intended to address. The only half decent work he ever did were his shortstories he didn't try to shoehorn into a political message and focused on the actual human condition. They were middling literature but at least there was some distant spark of talent in them -

how do I hibernate for days? I need to sleep thru atleast 2 days of opiate withdrawal anhedonia and stim restlessness. Total today for sleep ive taken like 1.4mg of clonidine (not at once, spread out but it never really put me out). I also took 50mg of seroquel a few hrs ago but still never even slept fully. All I have is a shit ton clonidine, seroquel, buspar, melatonin and benadryl just took 100mg bbbenadrills and if this doesnt KO me im gonna crib leg my house's bag to the ground

It's true I haven't read most of UPB but then you haven't read much of Otis Ray but I hope you don't have a high opinion of TimeCube. I've yet to see so much as a coherent summary of the arguments in UPB nor any compelling reason to read it beyond a bunch of libertarians jerking off over it. You can even boil Kant's ethics down into a few pages, it's dumb to be like "you haven't read THING thus you have to totally suspend judgment of THING or accept THING until you do". Replace THING with Pythagoras, TimeCube, and Harry Potter and I come to realize I have the same level of reason to think the guy has a point as I do to believe irrationals aren't real (heu heu), whatever timecube advocates, and the philosophical pinings of Rowling.
If you want a defense of Bentham, (early) Hume, or Epicurus I could at least present a sketch of their arguments and discuss them without restoring to "read the source material and get back to me". Can you do the same? -

When I was in highschool the west coast rave thing was in full swing and I knew people who rolled friday, saturday and sunday every week for years on end along with a lot of other drugs. Many of them are burnt out husks of human beings now, sure, but still you should keep it in perspective.
