   TBH I'd be down for a NiS rust enclave. I'm not sure we could manage the coordination necessary to make a rust run really work though, but fuck it, might be a beautiful disaster. I don't have the time to sink into it ATM but if you get it going at some point in the future I'd be there for it.

   That's great, no one is forced to be here lol. I don't really need to be in a place where being mean isn't allowed, although I do post on forums that have stricter moderation and the shitflinging that's endemic here is considered off topic. And that's fine. Places like that should exist, and if that's what you want go forth and enjoy it, most of the world works that way. But that's not what NiS is or aspires to be, and I don't know what about this site would ever make you think that. Like did you roll in and see the "rape escape" banner and page after page of "fuck niggers" threads and think this was a place where everyone's friends and nice to eachother?
   
   Like honestly there are people here I'd consider friends of a kind, which is not how I feel about online randoms, and part of that is because there's really no reason to pretend to like anyone on here. So if someone isn't an asshole to you that's like actually a kinda genuine thing. The reason everyone hates your guts Kafka, is because you're too retarded to realize that's the dynamic here and you try to cozy up with people as if there's something to gain, then get upset when you can't exchange social credit for sycophantic ass kissing.

   Rust is fun and all but it’s not all about muh graphics (not that rust is really a graphical marvel, but definitely better than 7derps to derp). Honestly the jank is part of the charm and you end up exploiting it a good bit in base building which is fun.
   
   Also the absolute monke level of petty rat fucking, a war of every man against every other, red in tooth and claw, merciless and mindless, unthinking and unending aggression that characterizes rust is fun for a bit but really wears me out after a while.

   Same, I'm pretty sure I got it for under $10 but sorta feel bad about it given the number of hours of enjoyment I've had out of it, vs. my steam library being littered with $60 AAA titles I have like 2 hours logged on.

    I'm sure there are torrents out there where you can download it. I don't know where they are since I've become a normie and just buy games, but I'm sure someone can hook you up. I'm sure the DRM has been cracked, if there is any at all, based on how half-ass EAC is (which is disabled on the server, so I don't think there'll be an issue with joining with a pirated copy).

    Basically you scav around for food and weapons n shit for the week fighting zombies and building a base, then on sunday the zombs get retard strength and try and fuck your shit up while you huddle in your base and try not to die.
    
    PVP is disabled on the server but I can turn it on if people want it, so far folks have not gone full state of nature, and you can fuck with people if you want to with obnoxious building/demo
