Yeah the deal with these sites is more about whether or not you care about buying stuff that was most likely bought with a stolen credit card. Purchases of cheap ass game keys almost invariably trace back to a stolen credit card, which means the studio has to process a chargeback, which costs them money. But afaik there are no consequences for end users (don't quote me on that), so let 'er rip.

as long as you buy an actual key rather than a steam account with the game installed I haven't heard of anyone losing access

Same, I'm pretty sure I got it for under $10 but sorta feel bad about it given the number of hours of enjoyment I've had out of it, vs. my steam library being littered with $60 AAA titles I have like 2 hours logged on.

Actually that's a point lol. Garret, if you don't have a copy yet and have a steam account add me (lrogers54 / MadeInTarth) and I'll buy you a copy. Retarded as funpimps are, they deserve a couple more of my shekels

lol, that was actually really fun

I was about two floors from the roof of an apartment block in the wastelands when Trump turned up in cowboy boots; the street was flooded with zombies so I sat on a windowsill and popped heads to clear a path. I went down to meet him in the garage, but we spent a little too long on the ground floor and they punched a hole in the wall and started flooding in from the street.

by the time we made it back to where I was I was down to 20 rifle rounds and a few grenades, and we both had broken legs so we had to improvise splints by chopping up couches. the last two floors were the densest with zombies and half of them go bananas as soon as you get into the area so you can't just stealth past them or kill them before they wake up, so we really made use of the 'slam a door in their faces, then throw a grenade when they bunch up to knock it down' technique. I ran out of ammo and grenades on the last 3-4 zombies and ended up having to fight with a ratchet, but we did make it out eventually

the console ports are some kind of retarded cash grab; they were released when the game was in beta 15 (they're on 21 now, so it's like 5 or more years outdated) and never updated or supported

Rust is fun and all but it’s not all about muh graphics (not that rust is really a graphical marvel, but definitely better than 7derps to derp). Honestly the jank is part of the charm and you end up exploiting it a good bit in base building which is fun.

Also the absolute monke level of petty rat fucking, a war of every man against every other, red in tooth and claw, merciless and mindless, unthinking and unending aggression that characterizes rust is fun for a bit but really wears me out after a while.
