Hezbullah are fortifying the borders.
KSA is spooling up to start bombing Hezbullah, with rumors that NATO will allow them to use airbases on Crete to mount attacks, allowing them to support Israel directly.

10/10 Analysis on the KSA situation. Things are about to get (even more) intense.

Iraq's doing alright now, they just need to rebuild and reorganise - ISIS is almost crushed in the country and the army taught those cheeky Kurds a lesson

Local sources say he's likely to have himself crowned king in the next few days
hes doing that to eliminate any threats to his position and the other miscellaneous bits of strife hes creating (withing the neighboring nigger-villes...including iran) to boost oil prices. hes dropping hints to the proles that those billions and billions of shekels are going to be redistributed to the proles. like that would ever happen...
same shit, different day: proles make noise...house of sod throws cash at them...they stfu and gtfo.
allegedly papa-saud is onboard with junior becoming HNIC.

It's likely to expand far beyond that this time.
A guy with Iraqi intelligence sources is claiming it's been verified that the KSA airforce will participate in an Israeli attack on Lebanon on the pretense that Hezbullah and Iran are trying to 'take over the country' and are 'supporting Yemeni aggression' (lol what). The guy has a patchy record of predictions so don't assume it's 100%, but given the circumstances it seems accurate.

SAUDI ARABIA - Multiple unconfirmed reports of ACADEMI acting as MBS' muscle.
The Yemeni military is also stepping up missile attacks in response to KSA's lateset bombing runs against the Defence Ministry in the capital.

SYRIA - The SDF have more or less finished with ISIS and are now preparing attack plans for Idlib, where HTS and AZM are apparently fighting each other now. This is probably the last chance for the SDF to decide whether they want to fight the SAA for the lands they've taken.

lol, some guy posted the SAA's tactics for attacking Idlib on a pro-Assad Facebook group, apparently his uncle is involved in planning.
It's always possible it was fake, but considering the guy's posting history (and how quickly he deleted it) I don't think so. Will keep an eye on Southfront to see if it was accurate.

I need to reflect on all of this before I reply. Good thread though, aldra.

Saudi Arabia - Looks like Bandar bin Sultan, one of the Saudi princes that have been arrested in the 'corruption probe' is being thrown under the bus for support of Islamist groups in the Syrian war.
True, a lot of evidence points to him having a significant hand in it, but he was most certainly not the only one, and the kind of funds, support and arms transfers that happened could not have been cleared without authorisation from higher up in the royal family.

Iran - Iraq has decided to quake their earth to get at Iran and as a result, multiple dozens of Iranian citizens and combatants alike are getting killed and the wounded are in the range of hundreds.
Multiple eye witnesses claimed to have seen Russian Earthquake Generators air hauled by Russian Chinooks into Iraqi territory and out of it under the cover of darkness.

Fuck
Arab news sites are reporting KSA has expanded the mission parameters of 'Operation Decisive Storm' (hilariously ironic name of the Yemen attack) to include Lebanon, looking for confirmation

Looking more closely, it appears as though they've gotten the idea from several Lebanese websites hacked and defaced by pro-Saudi hackers with the tagline 'Decisive Storm will come to you soon'. There's been no official announcement from Saud.
As an aside I've had to skim over a bunch of pro-Saudi sources on the Yemen war, and the mental and literal acrobatics they go through trying to justify it are insane -
The 'Houthi Rebels' are fighting the legitimate government in Sana'a
It was the Houthis that originally spearheaded the revolt, now the entire military apparatus is on board - the only remaining support for the President in exile is in his hometown, and there's not much there either. It's a popular uprising, not a factional conflict. The President was originally based in Sana'a, now he's fled to KSA. By any standard of international law the government is no longer legitimate, if it ever was. The Saudis' interest in keeping the President in office is his permission for them to ransack the Yemeni energy industry.
Saudis are fighting aggression from Iranian-backed rebels
Iran supports Yemen ideologically, but does not send fighters (or even advisors as far as I know). They will sell arms to the Yemeni military but do not seem to be trying to turn the tide of the war in any major way - their support is solely political and does little to help considering those opposing (KSA and the west) have no interest in a political solution that doesn't involve Yemen un-deposing the president. Such a complaint is doubly-ironic when you consider how many billions of dollars of weapons the US and UK have been providing KSA with.
It's hard to justify calling the Yemeni military effort 'aggression' when the first shots were fired by KSA, the (largely civilian) casualty ratio is heavily in their favour and they're able to blockade Yemen to the point where not even UN-designated food, fuel or medical supplies can make it into the country, creating both a famine and multiple disease epidemics due to complete sanitation failure.

AN internal Saudi memo has been leaked - they apparently intend to use the 'Palestine Issue' to engender a military alliance with Israel. They'll legally recognise Israel as a legitimate state and drop all support for Palestine, declaring it a part of Israel, in return for Israel (and thus US) support against Iran and Hezbullah.
War is coming fast; I've spoken to locals in Iraq and Syria who say the same thing, general chatter on twitter seems to convey the same feeling.
