without googling... and using my own questionable recce skills...my SWAG is they're some sort of FFV-manufactured carl-gustav relative. I cant see the actual projectile well enuff to be specific but based on the standoff probes on the over-caliber warheads they're HEAT (or whatthefuckever they're calling shaped-charge warheads nowadays) rounds.The following users say it would be alright if the author of this post didn't die in a fire! -

not an AT-4...i know what they are...they had them when i was in. AT-4 (at least back then) didnt have an over-caliber round available for it, they were single-shot, and didnt have a hand-hold at the front.
the 'long nipple thing' is a stand-off sensor that is designed to detonate a shaped charge (HEAT...or whatever the fuck theyre calling them nowadays) warhead at the optimal distance from the target. a shaped charge needs a 'time delay' so to speak to 'splode and make the copper splurt out at the proper distance otherwise its just a regular bomb.
tandem warheads are almost impossible to detect visually with certainty because they can be all kinds of different shapes, orientations, and configurations within a missile. -

funny story on AT-4s:
while eating some meal on the mess-deck of a carrier floating around in the middle of nowhere, the ordnance types were moving a pallet of AT-4s from the magazines 'down' in the ship up to the hanger deck using the various elevators.
i dont have the specific details because i didnt see the whole thing, but when i sat down to eat the pallet was about 20 feet away from me, sitting next to the elevator. i ate a few bites, then heard a loud 'BANG BOOM SLAM BANGBANG KABLAM KRUnchchchhhhh.' when i looked back over there were several of the shipping crates of AT-4s sprawled everywhere, along with a couple more that fell off the pallet from a height of about 3 or 4 feet as i watched. im not sure exactly what happened, but either the ordnance kids opened the elevator doors and they caught the pallet, or the elevator actually moved before the pallet was settled, or something like that.
what made it funny was the boots (derogatory term for noobs) who were eating that didnt know any better jumped out of their shit and hauled ass (literally. several of them spilled their trays of food)...while the oldfags just sat there and continued eating while a few made snide comments against the noob ordnance tards and the tards who ran like little girls. i dont remember exactly what i said, but it was something along the lines of 'you fucking retards arent going to be happy 'til you blow up the whole ship.'

One of the guys I follow identified the commander's Facebook account through stuff he'd shared on other sites and passed the data onto Iraqi army contacts - now both the Iraqi army and other Peshmergas are hunting him for being a total dick.

2017-10-26 at 11:16 AM UTCActually I should clarify - like I mentioned before, Barzani is the one pushing for secession but he hasn't been paying the Peshmergas that he wants to enforce it. As of two days ago the Peshmerga command simultaneously requested a ceasefire with the Iraqi army and demanded Barzani step down - this attack on Iraqi soldiers was during the ceasefire; the Peshmerga unit apparently lured them in by asking that they take command of a checkpoint under the belief that there were Iraqi soldiers already there needing reinforcement to perform their duties.
As for Barzani, word is he's preparing his resignation now.
