There’s actually a chunk of dialogue in the game about exactly that. Ironically I died in the middle of it because I read too slow.
The one thing I wish the game had told me at the start is that nothing strictly requires anything else, like no puzzle is ever solved by acquiring an item somewhere else. But the solution to every puzzle at least hinted at somewhere else. So actually the one place I got stuck was because the very first thing I tried was going into the bramble and got stuck, I assumed I needed something else so I never found the clues about other stuff that were in there, and scratched my head for a long time. So I guess what I’m saying is it often makes sense not to grind the same puzzle for ages and ages, just back off to something else and go solve whatever that points you to and so on.
Well you still do need to hit certain milestones before you die. I think im at some point where you have to do 4 things before time runs out to complete one loop. I was running around on that sand planet for like a fucking hour. Even with walkthroughs, there arent as specific landmarks as some games have. Trying to track what youve done or need to do was really nard for me. Maybe ill revisit it, but i hate spinning my wheels. Esp when ive already gone back and forth to the same locations over and over again. -
