2019-09-09 at 7:48 PM UTC in Curing weedSome people suggest dropping the temp a few days before harvest since terpenes are volatile and the higher the temp, the faster they bleed out. So for maximum flavor, get the temp right. The temp shouldn't fluctuate either, and lower temperature will slow the drying process somewhat, but lower humidity will counteract that. It's best to get the temp and humidity perfect.
Some people suggest 65F to 75F and 45 to 50% humidity. I'd go with the lower numbers, even if it takes a bit longer. I've met a lot of good growers that weren't very patient, didn't have a hygrometer, and didn't pay much attention to the temp of the room their plants dried in, and while they had high THC, the flavor was lacking somewhat.
If you screw up the drying part, the curing part is not going to be as good. Curing will make it smoother even if the drying part is screwed up, but you'll lose flavor.The following users say it would be alright if the author of this post didn't die in a fire! -
2019-09-09 at 6:30 PM UTC in Curing weedDon't bother hanging it, just distribute the buds into paper bags, then rotate the buds daily for about a week to promote airflow and check for budrot, then during the cure process be sure to continue checking the buds in the jars for bud rot for at least 30 days. I've been pretty sober over the past year, thus accounting for my lack of blockbuster, 2-thumbs up, critically acclaimed, 5-star threads. Cause when I'm crunk I'm usually more active for some reason.
ANYWAY.
I was at my buddies house when I was tracking the storm, and I stumbled across this little piece of news...
So even though I'm on the North Carolina coast, I thought to myself...it's worth a go!!
So early morning as soon as the sun came out, and the tide came out, I paddled out to the barrier island in search of large amount of Cocaine bricks, or any other narcotic.
I forgot my camera, as I wasn't thinking of making a thread on it, but I came across some cool stuff too big to haul back, but of no real value. One being a giant Coast Guard Buoy washed up on shore. It looks almost exactly like this, huge enough for me to climb on, with a solar light on top, and a giant bin with 2-inch wide bolts holding it shut.
I may update the thread this weekend or early next week with whats inside, as it will take some work, but with one of those giant wrenches meant for working on diesel engines, or maybe even a plumbers wrench and some WD-40 could be enough to break the rusted bolts.
I asked my friend to ask her husband, who is in the coast guard what are in these suckers. I was told "nothing", and warned of the dangers of tampering with Government property. HAH. I said BITCH...don't restrict my freedom of adventure! Not really, but I was like "oh".
and I did say I give 0 hoots about that shit, and the government does shit I don't agree with all the time fuck their buoys. Of course if it serious this is all in minecraft, and the pictures I upload will be slightly blocky LOL

I was disappointed honestly, but I believe either a shipment of sunglasses went overboard, or its just random but considering the amount of sunglasses I found it seemed to be a small shipment went overboard somewhere. I walked the course of a few miles, and every quarter mile I would find a pair of sunglasses. They were full of barnacles but I've been soaking them and they seem to come clean. I got about 6-8 useable pair of sunglasses and some snorkels and a snorkel mouthpiece. I can't make out the brands on some, one of them being Under Armor.
Getting hot and eaten alive by giant island flies, I decided to head back, not totally disappointed as I have a buoy to check out, and found some cool stuff to look at and glasses.
I came across a lone man walking, and he yelled something indecipherable to me, I walked over and asked him "wha?"

I return to my landing area, then, not 20 meters from where I landed, I spotted a box in the distance....
OH YEAH! JACKPOT!
A functional military box! It was heavy too! I was too excited, but too exhausted as well, so I tossed my loot in the kayak and headed back.
Upon eating mac and cheese and showering, I opened the box hoping for anything cool from the military really, but unfortunately the only thing stuffed in there was empty ammo boxes, and a couple of papa johns pizza plates.

To think I was randomly invited here for having pestered lanny enough on animebytes and out of boredom and stubbornness I have stayed here for going on three or so years, though to be honest with all the drugs and the hiki lifestyle it feels like I have only been here for a few months.
Anyways, some of you people here are cool (Sophie, Aldra) and if you're real and not bots or paid to post here by some intelligence agency, I want you to know you two are alright and remind me of some cool internet friends I used to chat with years ago.
Anyhoo, I just smoked some weed and had a pretty bad experience, but it was necessary because it was the wake up call I needed to finally decide to make a change.
My life fucking sucks right now, it's been shit for a pretty long time too and it's time for me to make a change and improve my quality of life in any way possible, no matter how little.
For starters I need to stop coming to places like this and 4chan, which only exacerbate my anxiety and depression.
Also too I'm quitting alcohol, a substance that has plagued my life for a decade now.
I have been struggling with substance abuse and web addiction for so long, the web being even more of a problem.
I need a break from sites like this though, I don't think I can quit the web for an extended period at this point seeing as how useful it is.
Tomorrow, instead of going on the web and shitposting here all day, or thinking about how much I want to drink, I'll fight that feeling and try to move forward.
I'm going to try and make a real effort to learn music theory and make my own music, that will keep me occupied for the rest of my life and give me something to immerse myself in that isn't so detrimental to my health.
It seems like the majority of this site is made up of people struggling with addiction issues and drug use.
I want you all to know that it is wrong and you can quit, drugs are not a good thing they are the devil's work.
Jesus and Lain didn't do drugs and neither should you or I.
Let us all work together to make our lives better in any way possible.

They use Librium and phenobartital (for really bad patients I assume). Either Librium or Valium would be the gold standard and the best option for you; Librium a bit better though. Also, you should try to ganapentin if they offer it to you..say it worked really well for you in the past and you'll get it probably.
Don't use xanax. It will make things worse, I'm serious.
If you need to, you should also taper with alcohol itself if nothing else. Don't just quit drinking completely without a benzo or alco taper.
