People still care for this country, it's just the politicians and corporations that don't. What needs to happen is for actual Americans to take back control of all levels of government and the military.

The crony capitalist industrial complex doesn't give a shit about anyone's national security, not even their own. It's in it to make more $$$ for themselves, not to worry about anyone's safety or security. Just look at World War II, when General Electric was selling electronics, parts and supplies directly to Hitler and the Nazis DURING the war, with FULL KNOWLEDGE AND BLESSINGS BY ALL THE WESTERN GOVERNMENTS, while at the same time selling electronics, parts and supplies to the Americans, Brits and Canadians. So while the Germany army is dropping bombs on English homes, schools, hospitals and towns, GE is busy carrying on a brisk business with Hitler, right out in the open, too! Many of the parts which were used in the bombs that killed thousands of Brits were made by General Electric, an American company! You see, everything you know is a lie. Everything you've been taught is a lie. All the world's a stage, and we are merely players, performers and portrayers, each another's audience, outside the gilded cage.

I just got the new Occulus Rift S this past weekend for $399.
I'm pleased with the purchase, forget the cardboard and "stick your phone in it" crap "real" VR headsets are way beyond those.
I got Skyrim VR for it, that's pretty amazing..it's like you're there I've spent most of the time since checking out the hot NPCs and trying to touch them up.
I also got Apollo 11 HD and was walking around the moon's surface last night and chillin with Neil Armstrong.
I did think about getting the Occulus Quest which is also $399 but stand alone...glad I didn't. You're very limited on content on that. Certainly no Skyrim or other Steam VR stuff. You're better with the Rift S if you have a computer than can handle it...even to the point that if you need to spend some money on updating your computer that's the way to go rather than the limited occulus quest.
I got a Nvidia GTX 1060 off letitgo for $70 and that handles it fine, my processor is an I5 4460 (I think) which also handles it fine.

Actually, using an older system could potentially reduce risk, since the system is a lot better understood. Updating an OS always carries risk, and that risk carries tremendous financial implications if we're talking about a bank, for example.
