US Slavery is not relevant because it happened before any of the people alive today were alive, and saying that it's a lack of opportunities is ignorant of the fact that legally blacks are equal to whites(and others) as well as the fact that they're currently given more opportunities for the same basis than whites or those of any other race for that matter.
It's also ignorant of the fact that asians were largely treated the same and within some of our lifetimes a large group of them were put in camps merely for being japanese as well as the prejudice post war.
You'll also note that there are just below half as many asians in the us as blacks while their crime statistics are in no way comparable, in fact they compare only to natives which are currently a much smaller minority once again proving how disproportionate it is. -
