    Well then.... here's a balloon.

We are ALL HERE for your entertainment pal. nobody any more, nobody any less. We all make up the spinning cog... bad or good.... This is something a self "elevated mind" will never understand..... what a brilliant idiot you are.

like your statistics, you just have to deal with it. Never over-estimate your value....

The minute you think you've mastered a machine, is the minute it kills you... life is the same way... The minute you master life is the minute it kills you. It's not a personal thing. just life experience from all those that didn't make it. They'll tell you. Eventually, you'll get the chance to ask them. I hope you live long and prosper, if it's all the same to me.

well.... if you don't want me to talk TO you, just say so.... I like mattering that little to someone... I'll just talk AT you from now on.... I won't be butthurt even.

Jig just.......waves me away as if I were..... a fly.... or that stuff on the corners of the mouth that build up on hot days when you aren't hydrated enough... just waved it ...away.... with narry a care..... (little whisps blow by in the wind) wheee...

It's one thing to become an excellent debater, and to bury others, I've buried a few now and then, but when you see your friends in the thick of this shit in the hospital, a point of view becomes different than the shit we are bombarded with in media. especially when we never see that person again, and they took all the incredible stuff and information and kindness away with them. forever. 66 million is a whole lot of forever.

Maybe that will change Mr. L..... I don't see any "struggling" taking place though. If this shit hits the fan (all this shit that's escalating) and it exponentially gets worse, and keeps getting worse (which, playing even the long odds, we are actually long overdue...in "statistics", baahaahhaa..) We all might see something we have never seen or heard of before, at least in the US... It all depends on human reactions.

It's an irrational fear/response to what is still pretty much still an unknown and ultimately not a serious threat to the VAST majority of the population (.035% death rate so far).

I'm not an irrational person. I'm also not a person who particularly worries about dying. I base all decisions on the reality of the situation as it's currently known…again 0.035%…and again when it gets to 20% or so then I'll maybe be a little more "concerned" about it or feel the news/media/political coverage of it is pertinent..which it isn't at the moment.

    Shit happens.

I don't get the news. No TV, no radio. I'm saved from that bombardment I guess. Internet, I have a choice. I don't have time actually when it comes down to it.

I look at people as libraries of experience.... And the human heart and compassion. This is why they are valuable to me.

    Priceless actually.

I've seen kids with cancer act like older, experienced adults, when facing incredible odds and certain death, and I've seen adults act abominable and childish in comparison...

I've seen people change with an event, for the better, so drastically, you'd never know they were the same person...

When you see it like this, numbers become irrelevant.

SMH as the lovely donttellem would say.

I like your posts. You're extremely intelligent, and know the finer points of arguing/debating a point. This cannot be said of me. I have an IQ of minus 2. I also have no redeeming value. not even for Green stamps.

I'm far from a coward though. something I will never be....

Neither is MMR actually. He'd be a good one to have your back or side in a bad spot. just sayin.

I'm not even supposed to exist from what events took place on my path, so there is no surprises... I also, will die heinously and horribly, not a problem.

I'm damn happy to be here though. I also have courtesy for others, and the elderly, so I wear a mask so I don't bring it back to a closed community.

The Innocent, of which neither of us are, and maybe never were, should be protected, yes? So, why would it take 20%, that many humans to die before you raise an eyebrow?
Do you have that little care for others? Were they all really mean to you at one time? or maybe........all at the same time?

I don't get that... you're elevated maybe, and possibly have some arrogance, but not stupid... not at all. I've seen a thousand dead before... It's a lot of fucking cord wood. Too much.

    But 66 million? really?
  9. Firekrochfatty African Astronaut
Cool! I'ma check it out tonight, thanks... and yep, people want their head in the sand.... One trip overseas in some countries will cure that shit real quick. Or a good history book.

It's not fear.... BUT.... it's a good thing to be aware and prep, and wear a mask.... WE WILL LIVE though it and or be carriers.... but for some of us......

There's tons of elderly near the outskirts of where I live. When I go to anyplace, GREAT PEOPLE! I wear a mask out of consideration for them, because if one, or all died because of me..... hell...

It would be something that would be extremely hard to live with...

That's the power of exponential growth baby

what's sad, is, not only are all the plagues forgotten, but all the tragedies. Some say Hitler never happened now, and praise him like a god, and 9/11 is kinda forgotten, 10 more years and it will be, and there are some that say the earth is flat, and we never went to the moon...(but I saw it blast off and leave.... not a fucking studio to be seen.)

some want Mao Tse Tung back,, did they forget about one hundred million killed under his rule????

Fuckin people got sometimers. Not allshaaaaiemers or saltshakers, just sometimers... conveniently forgetting things to their own safe path.

And I already stated that it's the leading cause of death in America. Worse than heart disease, cancer, and automobile accidents. Not to mention there is a huge spike in other types of deaths from April-June that were not attributed to corona. So even WITH those spikes (that are probably caused by the damage from corona) it is STILL the leading cause of death.

I don't know how much worse it has to get for you to think it's serious. Will you think it's serious at 200k? 300k? 500k?

He said, wake him up when it's 66,000,000.

but....... we might not be able to wake him up...................................................................!

Virus ain’t gone, it’s just getting started.

What I don't get, is when people started to listen to tons of crooked politicians on ALL SIDES, (Dem and Reps both) over the doctors and nurses in the thick of it.

Because all of the politicians all have tons of medical degrees??? and while the doctors are out playing golf, lounging around, fuckin off!!!

While the politicians are busy on the front lines, deep in the bowels of all the hospitals, in blood up to their shoulders, really gettin down and dirty with this shit, finding the REAL VACCINE... And healing all the sick... yeah, yeah, that's it....... yeah....

Mornin! Next to nothing, hence container waste, but it's easy with just one fool when he's a hungry pig like me, to plan and execute. I wish they still recycled stuff. At least the plastic. "America First", needed far more planning to work properly....Now we are..."America Alone", and trade is dying, and America "doesn't do everything", and that can become a future issue. I'm not R or D, or anything to do with gov't. This... this.... (shmdh)

I'm all for being self sufficient, and I think all countries should have that in back-up, but these moves were not thought out well. They were just executed. Trade should always happen. Regulations too, argued and accepted regulations. It's how the world works efficiently. If not followed, we don't trade! No Problem...

But Houston, we have a big problem. (They better not shoot this shit into space) "milk carton space force"

We'll either have tons of garbage piled up into the stratosphere , or a new mountain ranges to ski on, with milk cartons making a slalom course... They better make up their mind. SOON.

Everest won't be the tallest mountain anymore. Trump will have something to brag about then.

And yeah they really go deep. It's a show that's very relatable to real life I think. Like the Vulcans for example. Their whole suppressing their emotions thing is crazy. Their actual emotions are very powerful, and it takes years and years of meditation and training to learn to suppress them. In their primitive years they were incredibly tribal and fought long and bloody wars till some great leader i forget the name of stepped forward and led the path to meditation and logic.

When they get old they undergo a change. Much like humans do when we get very old, they start to lose control of their emotions. One of the ways this manifests itself is by the telepathic transfer of these emotions unto the people around them. An old Vulcan can make a whole ship go crazy.

When it comes to violence they are super adept. Stronger and faster than humans. They live much longer lives too, I think a few centuries. But because of this, they're far less ambitious and driven than humans. Longer time to live = more time to do it. Less outgoing and less risky. They don't express any kind of emotion or even feel it. They do get happy and sad and etc, but they hold it in at all times. Too much emotion can literally kill them. I think Spock almost got killed by this once when his body was taken over.

The Vulcans built the Federation upon which the show centers around. When humans invented the warp drive, we were contacted by the Vulcans (our first encounter with aliens) and eventually invited into the Federation. They contacted most of the main species you'll see in the show once they developed warp drive capabilities.

Despite building the federation though, they let the more ambitious humans kind of take over the exploring and stuff.

Also you know how humans have hearts, and our hearts our made out of little chambers and valves? Vulcan teeth are like that. If one part starts to rot, the rest of the teeth will close that part off to protect the tooth. They also have a BPM of about 500 and an advanced sense of hearing. They can go without sleep for about a week or two without much issue, and are in direct control of all of their bodily functions. Meaning, they have to think about breathing and their heart beating and blinking and everything their bodies do. They have no automatic function.

Star Trek goes into INCREDIBLE detail. I absolutely love it.

    /rant

I can't believe what I missed! I gotta see this.... I remember some of what you said were explained in the early movies, but I'm really going to enjoy this, thanks!!!!

I wish human hearts did that. I have so many friends that have heart issues. I wish I had the power to fix them...

Again, thanks... (thumbs up, way up)

If they are green, yes, toxic. don't eat green hued potatoes. But fresh goldens are actually a good way to bring your body back to alkaline. Cancer cannot live in an alkaline body. Raw cabbage does the same... Slaw, with a little less dressing is a good example. and yes, I appreciate you trying it in my behalf. Goldens though. Others are more bitter. Goldens are also non-nightshade. I've eaten them raw all my life.

Their perception of what humanity becomes is pretty much all I want us to become. No crime or poverty on Earth anymore. Money is a thing in the past. People who want to learn can just go do it. Medical care is free and a hot meal is as easy as talking into a replicator that provides WHATEVER YOU WANT TO EAT in a nutritionally healthy form. So you can literally eat ice cream all the time if you want. It's healthy. No fat people in the federation.

I could go on but the universe is just so fucking cool.

That sounds amazing! They go into that much detail...

I'll check it out again. I watched a bit of it, but it was a time where I was pulling all-nighters at work for years. luckily, I just got Netflix! Maybe it's on there...

seriously.. raw... put some sea salt on em. It's all they need...try em. I eat em for lunch. Red new potatoes are good too, but goldens take it.

don't try this with russets or whites. still ok, but bitter.
  18. Firekrochfatty African Astronaut
Yukon Organic Goldens. I slice em thin, and either eat em raw, or fry em in a wok. add spices.

I wish I knew how they make the twice baked potatoes in QuarterMaster or VerdiMart in the French quarter. They're huge, and topped with everything. and so damn good at 03:00.

Sweet Potato Pie............. MAN I MISS THAT!!!!

When in a rip current brotha, swim sideways, and it'll take you out of the current. You can do what you're doing, but it might take you out further than you planned.

You up near Frankfort, (we surf in Frankfort in the storms there) or Traverse City? or the famous Sleeping Bear Dunes? very clean water there...

Damn, that sounds amazing man! I bet you make some kickin taquitos/flauta. damn I miss those. haven't had proper ones in 30 years now... I'm trying to learn how to cook all those roots that I see in the markets here as well. there's like 20 of em. gotta try em all!
