I think part of it is to overextend and exhaust the IDF across multiple fronts so that they can be forced into some kind of political solution or, failing that, they'll be less-able to fight effectively when it comes to it.
the other thing is allowing israel to go hogwild is causing popular support in the west to evaporate, and the only reason they've been able to swing their dicks around for so long is because of the US (and to a lesser extent, the EU and 'countries' like Canada and Australia) funding them, arming them and running political-media interference for them. the bulk of the US political apparatus may be pro-israel but they will have to be held accountable by their constituents to some degree as it becomes harder and harder to deny that they're desperately lashing out and targeting civilians. how is it even possible to inflict almost 50% of casualties as children?
I've read recently that US fighter pilots actually flew for them in the six days war and were responsible for destroying Egypt's airforce and anti-air capability; no official confirmation but the whole thing happened during a 'combat pause' in Vietnam.

two things:
1. with the advent of social media, they don't have a stranglehold on the 'truth' no matter how many media companies they can buy out, financially or ideologically. support for israel gets lower every year because nobody believes Hamas is forcing them to bomb hospitals and refugee camps anymore. zoomers don't care about the holocaust; it 'happened' almost a century ago.

I think it's inevitable, Israel was never supposed to control Gaza or West Bank, all they had to do was treat the Palestinians with human rights like every western country does and they wouldn't be in this mess but instead they chose the road of evil

basically just talked about the state of the war, didn't announce anything new, though I did notice he broadcasted that the US has 56 men in hospital thanks to the Iraqi missile attacks, haven't heard that anywhere else.
new fronts are opening, all of the 'resistance' groups are moving up to heavier weapons, he specifically talked about drones with 500kg warheads, this is a direct response to israel killing civilians inside Lebanon. the West Bank is going to pop off, and the IDF is likely going to need to split its forces further and send some there.
