2021-03-12 at 1:22 AM UTC in Why is hikki so fucked up?Look we can psychologise hikis defects away but §m£ÂgØL represents a whole new paradigm. is he a troll? or merely an example of state programming?
i doubt even candy takes it up the butt, but this "man" would willingly submit to such a discgrace for the priviledge of sleeping on hgydros couch or at least in her trailer.

Maybe if everyone started saying what they meant, we could get somewhere. Say what you mean. And mean what you say.
Doctor Suess said that before Republicans cancelled him out because he wasnt christian enough. -

Originally posted by netstat do you think the dichotomy is between 'free' and paid content? was thinking about the problem of shitty online journalism recently and had the idea that it largely comes down to incentives, where 'free' publications want to churn out clickbait type bullshit that is quick, easy and epistemically irresponsible because this incentivises faster consumption, more clicks and therefore more potential advertising revenue, while people who are willing to pay for a subscription to something like the economist are more likely to want higher quality, more factually accurate investigative journalism and the writers aren't weighed down as much by the need to optimise around the publication's advertising strategy
Maybe indirectly but it comes down to the actual ability of the writers, vs "bloggers".
You know how I navigate free news articles I see on the web? I immediately hunt for and click on the source. It will take me to an outlet or scientific or academic source. If not, I hunt for the sources on that source and then click that. Eventually I enhancement down to a paper or something that I read myself and is usually what I actually need to inform myself. Even if I don't specifically understand all the figures, I can carefully read what the authors are conveying and see what they're actually trying to say better than most of the articles by "bloggers" that got me to it in the first place.
If you regularly read any scientific news or economics news articles on the internet, it will drive you to the brink of insanity how much "rephrase wikipedia basic definition" word count padding bullshit you see.
In fact often you will spot blatant falsehoods that you genuinely already know are wrong and betrays the author's utter lack of specific knowledge on the subject.
There are some shining examples even amongst free publications, such as Quanta Magazine for scientific news.
When I read a publication like The Economist, it is clear that the authors usually at least basically know their shit. I don't see too many stilted takes. They don't just blog summaries of some new papers, they will write a broader survey of rich topics that help you gain some basic understanding and set yourself up to do further research on your own with a solid relative foundation.
If you can get talented writers with actual knowledge of the subjects you're hoping to cover, the business model doesn't really matter. -

Complete bullshit. You completely twist shit. I would never come to shithole Texas, nor lead anyone that I would. I especially never go out of my way to visit you if you lived across the street.
It's unfortunate that people that actually work have to pay for shit bags like you and hydro.
She asked me for 50 dollars so she could buy heroin.. like common.. you're already a prostitute surrounded by male beta orbiters cant you just go suck a dick or something.
She was like "ooh Bill Krozby ill totally break bread with you when i go down to austin despite not having a vehicle and have no intent on going there"
what a clown

There are more places to inject than just in the fore arms. The femoral vein in the groin area is a good spot. There are also many veins all over the body. As long as I don’t need to do a lot of standing or walking which causes a lot of edema my legs are a good spot.
I like the training a helper monkey idea. My dad once convinced a lady that was supposed to help him but wasn’t doing her job, that he was blind and had a dyslexic helper monkey (she kept telling him to read a faq page which he did and I did which didn’t answer his problem, hence him becoming frustrated and coming up with the helper monkey). Lmfao.
I however am trying to stop using heroin at the moment. Not sure how that’ll go, but we will see. -
2021-03-11 at 3:09 AM UTC in Chauvin's Going to WalkI mean just open up an article at random.
STANDING OVER a smouldering barricade as riot police draw nearer, Mohamed Thiam, a protester in Senegal’s capital, Dakar, does not mince his words. Macky Sall, the president, “wants to impose a dictatorship”, he declares. “We will not accept it.”
https://www.economist.com/middle-east-and-africa/2021/03/10/the-arrest-of-an-opposition-leader-sparks-protests-in-senegal
Thousands of people took to the streets in Dakar and other cities after the police arrested Ousmane Sonko, the main opposition leader, on March 3rd. They battled the police, blocked roads and burned shops. For days after the arrest the smell of tear gas wafted through the capital city.
Do you actually believe Mohamed Thiam said that to some reporter out on the street? Do you think riots in Africa occur out of love of democracy? Do you actually believe that the "smell of tear gas" lasted days?
Dollars to donuts they took AFP reports, and did some creative interpretation of the story. They never sent anyone to Senegal. Are you mad? When Africa kicks off the journalists get out.
I can't see more, I only see two paragraphs, and to be honest I don't have the stomach for reality fan-fiction. -
