Back in my younger days as previously mentioned I was all about motorcycles...which I was 100% maintaining myself. Strip those things down to their nuts..and bolts and put it back together.
The spares shop employees were on first name terms with me as I'd be in there every couple of days for something or other. Naturally a lot of that knowledge can be applied to car maintenance too...so yes I've done some car maintenance. Of course at my current station in life, that of being a Superior British White man living in the Stupid South of America I now pay people to do my dirty work.

Basically the whole time I've been posting on totse and affiliated message boards I've been under court/government imposed restrictions on my freedom, making things like drinking alcohol, leaving my house, not notifying officials of exact times of medical appointments and leaving my city subject to periods of incarceration which I have endured over the past 15 years. Obviously edited as a propaganda video (video is ripped from PressTV) but does seem to clearly show what happened. There's no full explanation yet from either side, but the 'unofficial' explanation is that the ship was transporting oil from Iran to Venezuela and the captain was bribed to surrender the ship to the US Navy instead (the State Department openly offers large bounties to captains carrying Iranian oil). The IRGC heard about it and intercepted the ship before it could happen, then repelled the two ships sent to collect it.
