I was in prison with an old guy who did time in Texas in the late 80s/early 90s and was part of a work gang that IIRC picked cotton. He said on the days when they would go out the goal for thr day would be to find a watermelon because no matter how hot it was out (and I can imagine it would be absolutely scorching much of the time) the center of the watermelon was always ice cold.
When he told me that story it kind of made me understand how blacks have such an affinity towards them since they were doing essentially the same thing and would dream of finding one to alleviate their suffering. It's kinda stupid how what is a completely understandable acquired taste due to hardship based on race is treated as a negative stereotype. Or maybe blax just like watermelons because THEYRE FUCKING GREAT but who knows they might have hated them had they not been forced into slavery its like a chicken and egg type thing, nahmean?
I didn't read the latter 75% of that but I will say watermelons are great and in the summer I will literally just buy full watermelons to keep in my garage fridge.
Speaking of which, did you know that watermelon slices are officially gay? I'm a quadrants and hemisphere guys now: I simply cut the watermelon in half, out that half on a plate and eat out of it with a fork.
Depending on how I am feeling, I might lightly sprinkle some Tajin powder on the watermelon as I eat it, because they go great together. But it's a different, spicy experience that isn't as refreshing as straight WM.

They both have their appealing points. The legs are more fun to gnaw around like caveman style, really makes me feel manly and primitive like I'm eating a big ham on the bone, but DEM FLATS are easier to get all the meats off of and it's oddly satisfying snapping the bone and unfurling the wing in it's entirety.
That's why a real man doesn't ask for one or the other like a little BITCH he takes the best of both worlds and enjoys the hodge podge of satisfactions.

I watched a video the other day of some chikins getting released from their coop into what was presumably their first time seeing snow. They walked out following their leader who took about 10 steps and did a nopenopenope and turned around ran right back into the coop and the others followed.
Quite wholesome I cried deeply.

I used to keep chickens, quail and pheasants on my 6 acres. You don't really have to do anything with them...buy a big bag of feed from the feed store and let them free roam...the feed is really just a "bonus" as they'll get all they need to eat "hen pecking" at ants and grubs etc on your land. (they'll stay within a small area, you don't really have to worry about them running away like a slave).
Having said that the pheasants did do a runner so maybe avoid those. We had about 2 dozen chickens and 200+ quail. We had incubators so raised the quail ourselves from eggs we bought on ebay (the first batch).
Both chicken and quail eggs taste much better when you "grow" them yourself vs store bought.
I built a chicken coop for them and they'd put themselves to bed in the evening when the sunset came around...all we had to do was go out and lock it up to keep the coons and coyotes etc out for the night and open it up in the morning...and collect the eggs.
We had enough eggs to feed Africa.

Made my way home today in my 4 wheel drive and once I got to the predominantly black part of town where I liveall the roads had stuck Dodge chargers on them. Had to go off road to get to my apartment building as the negros had long since gave up and left their cars scattered everywhere blocking the road home that I live on.
Once parked and out of my car I immediately was approached by one saying "Hey, can you help push my Dodge charger out and I'll give you a little something".
I proceeded to push his car out but refused any of his dirt weed as the best compensastion he could give me was leaving which I enabled him to do.
