My exercise bike came from a recycling centre. My Aunt's BF found it there, took it home, she didn't use it, so I got it. He also found a nice chandelier, which made well over β¬100. All sorts of stuff gets chucked.
I've eaten dumpster-dived food on one occasion with a bunch of hippy sorts, it was just fine.
