For the record, the only sex worker I slept with was normal money-free sex.
As a personal policy, I do not pay for sex.
But I had a brief fling with a neighbour who was an escort.
She never wore a condom with me, but at least claimed to always use them with clients.
Forgive my cynicism, but I merely assumed that she was just saying that.
So that's why I framed it how I did in that original post.
Yes, I slept with a sex worker without a condom. But the catch is that she (at least claimed) that she rarely does that.
However, since I am somewhat of a cynic, I wanted to advise the OP that shit can happen regardless.
When I got chlamdyia some ~15 years ago, it was while in a monogomous relationship, where we used a condom 99% of the time.
Don't make the faulty assumption that isolated/rare edge cases don't exist.
They do. -

I'm not seeing anything in your post that contradicts mine.
You just assume that I watch/read CNN.
That being said, I will say that I put slightly more trust in CNN than, say, TheDailyStormer.
I'm not saying I blindly trust CNN, or that they are unbiased.
I'm just saying that, on the spectrum of media bias, CNN is less extreme than TheDailyStormer.
To what degree any given person would assign that bias would be directly proportional to where they lie on the political spectrum.
But objectively speaking, any form of news media is going to be biased.
The idea of truly objective, completely unbiased news is... Ridiculous to the point of comedy. -

If this ain't your average week, you are not an alcoholic.
This is the scientifically developed and approved definition of alcoholism.
It's okay to be an alcoholism apprentice. We can work on that. -

Something about bloodydiaperman's personality just did not seem conducive to suicide.
I can tell, being someone who has contemplated suicide MANY times before.
It's very well possible he did, but he just seemed too care-free and had just too much zest for life.
I found that one bit super surprising when I read it.
I just have a gut feeling that the man behind withederedoaks, and the Ass-Blaster 2000 (or whatever it was called), is still out there.
Who knows, he may even have advanced his political career since those days. -

Originally posted by Narc Pedo and sex offender has become the ammunition used by the character assasins of the 21st century. Before, if somebody wanted to ruin your reputation, whether a business or political rival or just somebody who wanted revenge or to fuck you up for whatever reason, they would make you out to be either gay, having an affair, using a hooker and/or drugs. But now nobody gives a shit about that stuff, so they'll look for any way to make you out to be a pedo or rapist. They'll take any little thing they can find and magnify the shit out of it.
You wanna hope to fuck that nobody in the future ever wants to get one up on you for some reason darren, coz you just made it real easy for them now.
Again, I am in complete agreement.
Maybe this act this evening has been part of an ongoing trend in my life that started recently...
I suddenly became bored and apathetic about life, so I started taking stupid risks:
-- Lots of drug experimentation.
-- Gathering the materials required to manufacture methamphetamines (for the feds reading this, I HAVE NOT CARRIED OUT A SYTNHESIS... YET).
-- Even just wandering around the rough parts of town for the fuck of it.
Maybe this is all part of the same pattern.
I'm trying to create just a little bit of chaos in my life.
Now, being charged with a sex crime, that's more than 'just a little bit' of chaos.
So, again, you're probably right I should not have mentioned what I did.
Heck, I could have modified a single digit by 1 and rendered it perfectly legal (within the bounds of Canadian close-age-exception).
But I didn't.
To be honest, if the absolute worst case scenario happens, and I highly doubt it will, I may just (have a dream about a scenario in which I) shoot up a court room or something.
If the legal system is that fucking broken, I'll take some personal action against it.
But, like I said, I doubt it'll come to that.
It was 15 years ago.
She doesn't care.
I don't care.
Anyone who tries to care "on her behalf" is just a delusional busy body. -

Originally posted by CASPER I still say someone should begin work on a TOTSE documentary. While a lot of people grew up and shed it like an old skin, from the internet searches, it seems like a lot of people still have good memories. I think if it were for the right reasons (preserving a unique history/ making a movie) a lot of people would probably come out of the woodwork.
Totse is part of who I am today, for better or for worse.
I don't want to come off as a pretentious, narcissistic, delusional twat, BUT... I am incredibly ambitious and precocious at work, and I would not be surprised if I end up with some of degree fame at some point (perhaps mild, not unlike an author of a best selling book, say, in a day when few people read - kinda famous, but not on the covers of any magazines).
And I will gladly and proudly point to my Totse heritage as having contributed to who I am today.
I've said it before, and I'll say it again, I grew on on Totse. Some of my role models in life that inspire me to this day were Totseans. -

Originally posted by Narc Yeah they exist, we have them here too, they're called police officers, or the term I favor, pigs.
With those fuckers there is no reasoning. To them the law is very black and white. Its either legal or illegal and they are just itching to make a monster out of someone and a victim out of another. Then they can parade it over the media to resend the message to the population 'hey look everyone, we're protecting you from all these big scary monsters that are out there'. Coz that's what they're really all about, making everybody believe in monsters and then that only they can offer any protection from those monsters.
Imagine you were convicted for this. What do you think the headline in the newspaper would read?
You think it would read..
"Innocent man wrongfully convicted for a relationship he had back when he was only 19"
Or you think it might read summing like..
"Sick pedophile jailed for raping 14 year old in 2003"
With no mention of how old you were at the time, conveniently.
Taking something like that and making it look as worse as they possibly can is exactly what they do.
I will probably end up 'Thanking' every one of your posts in this thread, because you do provide a rational perspective on it all.
But I'm just at a point in my life where I feel like taking this supposed risk is worth it. It really does feel like a weight has been lifted off of my shoulders.
And the more #MeToo allegations flooding society, the more diluted they become.
I mean, TRUDEAU (P.M. of Canada) was even #MeToo'd, and he's (in)famous for a quote like "Why am I a feminist? because it's [current year]".
What does that tell you about the credibility of the #MeToo mob? -

If I were some kind of Hollywood movie producer, or, even, apparently, a famous scientist (like Neil DeGrasse Tyson), yeah, there's a chance I'd become a victim of the #MeToo movement that has started to run amok.
It makes wonder what the correlation is between degree of fame and #MeToo allegations is.
Heck, I think an incredibly interesting study would be to find the correlation between some kind of standard looks measurement, degree of fame, and number of #MeToo allegations.
Call me a cynic, but I expect that the uglier and more famous you are, the more #MeToo's you'd have against you.
Not that I want to downplay legitimate sex crimes, but damn, "harassment" is so loosely defined it's ridiculous. -
