I don't mind the banners... The name, though... I can kinda see valid reasons against it.
As we descend further and further into rabid SJW/PC culture, it's going to continue to become more and more offensive to people. The day we end up on the SPLC list simply because we have "niggas" in the title, I'm going to REDACTED send some flowers and cookies to the SPLC headquarters myself.
But I do kinda see how some might get the wrong idea from the host name.
Changing a hostname is kind of a big deal though. Then add in how much of a change it would be to our whole ethos and general culture... The theme of going into space is obviously not a serious goal, as can be discerned by the lack of space-travel oriented threads, but the general idea has kinda entered our culture and vocabulary here.

It's not bad, I guess. It definitely ticks all the boxes for a trippy horror movie. But sometimes it kinda jumps the shark a bit and seems to be trying to hit people right in the feels in a kind of cheesy way when the dead daughter trope is used.
That shit's more depressing than frightening.

Oh damn, I legit used the wrong word. I was like 20 drinks in at that point, but still, I usually don't mix up words like that.
I meant misogyny.
But yeah, I kinda do get where some of the "incel rage" comes from. I actually lurk at one of the main incel forums from time to time simply because I kinda get where they're coming from (up to a certain point, at least).
There was a time, many years ago, that I harbored similar such anger towards women. But I came to realize that there was a difference between being mad about something shitty, and pointing the finger at an entire group of people.
Some women absolutely can be cunts, but I came to realize that plenty of men are too. I don't think it even really matters at the end of the day which particular gender hosts more shitty people than the other. As far as I'm concerned, assholery is not gender-specific.
Of course, at the end of the day, heterosexual men will always paint women with one large swath when feeling scorned, as will heterosexual women regarding men, it's just kinda in our nature to do that kind of thing. The important thing is to not let it get so out of hand that you become, like, the quintessential incel that totally loses the plot like Enter/Enterita seemed at one point.

I don't really wanna "name names"... it's kinda unfair in some ways.
Mashlehash seems like a decent person at the heart of it all, but, like, less than 10-20% of his posts are intelligible.
Then you've got the paranoid schizos... They have their own category unto themselves because of the sheer number of them.
But, I wouldn't consider any of them to be an immediate threat to anyone (self OR others).
