I think a lot of people are WAY misinterpreting mmQ here.
He's not saying rape should be legalized or something because it's a trivial occurrence.
What I think he's trying to get at is that there is kind of a logically weird way we assign our "worst things that can happen to a person" hierarchies.
Like, some people would legitimately try to argue that being raped is "worse" than being (non-fatally) stabbed.
Both are forms of non-consensual penetration.
Both are acts of violence and aggression.
Both result in physical pain and injury (however, typically the strictly physical trauma of being stabbed is going to be a lot worse than that resulting from a rape).
So why, then, does rape somehow rank higher on our socially constructed hierarchy of "bad things that can happen to a person" than a non-fatal stabbing?

For me it depends a lot on what I'm doing at the time and the general atmosphere I'm trying to sustain.
For most of the day (while working on things and trying to sustain focus), almost entirely electronica of various subgenres (trance, house, drum n bass, etc).
When I'm drinking: rap, pop/top40/etc, electronica, and sometimes certain kinds of rock (usually 80's or 90's bands).
And then when I'm in a more passive mood, but not necessarily busy with anything that requires focus, I'll mix things up with all kinds of stuff, like classical, jazz, big band, Sinatra and the like, etc.

I seriously can't even do the damn dishes without getting water everywhere and now there's a huge backlog of dirty dishes.
