Tannic Acid/Tannin is available as a wine additive, I think I have some somewhere with my old homebrewing kit. It's what gives red wine its tart flavour.
The big psychoactive in Absinthe is Wormwood, a herb, I coincidentally have a tray of it propagating in the next room. It's perfectly legal. The wormwood has been removed from the absinthe sold in some juristictions.
Whiskey is just ethanol that is aged in oak, so has some of the alkaloids from oak in it. Those are all different alkaloids - different psychoactive drugs that give it a different effect. But alcohol… There is no psychoactive other than ethanol.
So can you scientifically explain your opinion or no?
When fermenting things, a whole heck of a lot of chemistry happens depending on what it is exactly you are fermenting. You get all kinds of crazy stuff, ethyl alcohol, methyl, isopropyl, butyr alcohol. Also, things like hops used in beer have acids and flavanoids. And the list goes on. Also he doesn't want to PvP me because I have drunkenly walked around with totems before so he knows it would be a real fight if we threw down. Most likely he would just fly away on elytra if I attacked him. I could chase and have an epic dogfight but if he got away it would be a bit of an issue.
He seems to target everyone except me because of this reason and I think he might know I'm insane enough to blow up the gunpowder factory if we get into active conflict. He probably has more gunpowder stored than me though so I would probably lose in that scenario

There's a thing to make skills "legendary" which resets/refunds all your points in that tree and resets the skill so you can keep leveling it up indefinitely (gaining skill levels translate to progressing toward your character level, so no level cap). But if you don't want to do reduce a skill you've leveled back to 0, there is a level cap (when you're 100 in every skill you can't progress the character level meter anymore). It's just not as straight forward as it is in most games where you get X amount of exp per kill/quest/whatever and the meter can only fill Y number of times before you stop gaining levels.The following users say it would be alright if the author of this post didn't die in a fire!
